    Would the additive not cause an overfill?

    Thanks for the info!
    i have just bought an SS 2015 so i will change oil in the next spring when the car is ready to get out.
    so Mobil1 is the best oil to use for these engines?

      Mobil1 is gm and dexos approved and is what we used on all performance vehicles at Chevrolet so yes! Congratulations on the new Camaro you will love it!!

    Awesome video! How often are you doing this change? I have a 2014 SS and do it every 3,000 mi, but not sure if I am changing it too early...
    Thanks a lot!

      Thanks! I usually do every 4,000 mi but it can easily go for 5k just don't go over that if you drive your car how it's meant to be driven lol.

    So automatics need both drained? You said automatics have a reservoir. Is that oil?(edit haha du*b question) I have an automatic so any info would be appreciated. Thanks brother

      No the automatic transmission pan does not need to be drained, unless you are servicing the transmission. Modern day automatic transmission fluid can last the entire life of the transmission.

      @@rowdyoctane6678 I gotcha. I figured one was for the transmission but I wasn't sure. Thanks for the reply. I'm going to do my oil here in a couple days. Good way to save some money haha

    You got headers how did you took the check engine light? Caz mine still showing once i installed my long tube headers because of the sensors

    • @rowdyoctane6678
      @rowdyoctane6678  Рік тому

      You have to get a tune to get rid of the cel. It is on because your downstream or rear o2 sensors have been deleted.
