I think the footballing IQ of Trossad is so underrated ...he always outsmarts the defenders...that is one area Martinelli is lacking in else he could be our own Luis Suarez.
It's no rocket science - Trossard, Jesus, Martinelli & Saka to start games together... I.e. at the expense of Havertz... To be fair, Havertz is no better than Eddie or Reiss Nelson.
Havertz is actually saving this team with just his body.. he has used it to protect the ball for too many times now, he is as fast or faster than both reiss and nketiah he can score headers, he can defend and get the ball back unlike both Reiss and Eddie.. dont get me wrong he cant kick a ball to save his self but he is what this team is missing.. a big guy who can do the dirty work@@gavinvonmeyer3746

The same defence he couldnt keep cleansheet against Brentford due to his errors😂

When Partey came on, all our players became fully functional. Rice began to move strongly upfront. There's something we are missing by keeping Partey on the bench.

We were lucky as you can see many of our starting players look tired, also wolves dropped a lot with Hwang subbed out gave us time to breath.
It is the bounce that got Kivi - he was going forward and the ball bounced towards him, he thought it would have bounced forward (away from him)
Actually thought the attacker handled the ball at first sight.

We have slowed down on how we push ahead to our opponents box. We got two slow players ahead. Tottenham relies on counter attacks and we need to be careful. Chelsea not also easy but manageable

Great to see them get right back on their feet again. A lot of so-called supporters gave up on this team after they lost in the quarter-finals by a single goal, away, to a club with multiple CL titles to their name. This Arsenal team deserves better. I was happy to see Jesus not wait to see if the referee would award a penalty. He instead got immediately up and made the pass for the winning goal. They should continue to rely on their skills instead of the officials to decide the results. This season is not over

This was how the gunners should have played during the games they lost. They lost the games because they chose slowest type of technique known as building in which all 11 players ,including the goal keeper have to touch the ball.

I love Rice and all he brings to our team. But in that 2nd goal we scored, Rice was bringing the ball forward and eventually made the pass to Havertz on the right. However, Martinelli on the left looked like he was in a better position to score on the left. Had Rice made the pass to Martinelli, the latter would've been on-goal with more space than Havertz and Odegaard.
Its this kind of thing that makes me unsure whether Rice can be the long term left number 8, or he needs more time in that position and more practice time solidifying a partnership with Martinelli the same way Xhaka did last seaon. On the ball vision is not elite level......yet.

I know Kowiors' mistake didn't lead to a goal, but it feels like our LB is a cursed position. Zinchenko struggled, Timber bloes his acl, Tomi is injury prone and now occasionally Kiwior struggles.
Maybe because none of those players are left back first. All of those players came in playing different positions for their previous clubs or for their country. 😀😀
