- The Rav is a new instrument inspired by the Handpan, invented in Russia by Andrey Remyannikov. Each notes contain up to 6 different tuned harmonics while the center note contains 7, offering many possibilities.

I honestly could listen to this all day. This is one of my all time favorite Rav videos. I own the Dmajor and am contemplating the GPygmy as it seems to go well with it and of course on it's own. I just love the RusB as well...This is one of the videos that made me realize how I loved the Rav and needed one in my life!! I wasn't wrong! It's brought me so much joy!! Thank you again for this music!! :) glad to have you in our FB group as well!!

Found this accidentally after watching Andrey participating in a piece of news and telling about his RAV Drum invention. Very beautiful music, so charming, inspiring, light and mystic at the same time.
Thanks to the author of this video for composing such a masterpiece and, of course, to Andrey Remyannikov for bringing such an unusual, I'd even say revolutionary instrument, to the world! Philippe should definitely make more music with it...
P.S. I've noticed just now that the video came out exactly one year ago. I don't believe in fate whatsoever, but this looks like a sign for me. Maybe I should try to learn playing a RAV myself... But I can't afford buying one anyway, so I'll just keep enjoying the work of others. Thanks again!
