@@HenrykAutomation I’m already building voice agents on VAPI, but I’ve come across a lot of discussions about Retell as well. Your side-by-side comparison was really helpful-there were aspects of VAPI I hadn’t explored yet, and it’s great to see how they stack up! The additional insights have already come in hand. For now, I’ll stick with VAPI, but I’ll definitely be keeping an eye on both to see how they evolve.
I was always in favor of Vapi, but I'm starting to warm up to Retell for multiple reasons. One of the biggest is the consistent cost, regardless of prompt length. Especially great for reducing costs with Realtime models. Great video Henryk.
Btw do you have a method to prompt engineer Realtime models to make the voice more human? In the normal ChatGPT app you can just tell it to sound like X, Y, Z and it does it quite well. If I put in the same demands in a Realtime prompt, the voice barely changes at all.
Great information and comparison. I really appreciate the unbiased review. Thanks, Henry.
Tried to keep it as factual as possible, glad that came across! Did anything make you sway more towards a particular platform?

give it lots of examples of how it should speak
Maybe there is a misspell in the title of this video. It should be "Vapi vs. Retell" not "Vapi vs. Retail".
