Live-wired, straight-shootin, dirty-mouth'd pelvis-pushin' juke music featuring Ty Taylor, Nalle Colt, Rick Barrio Dill and Richard Danielson
Vintage Trouble is a sensational, soulful four-man band whose very essence screams out loud of the late 1950's to 1960's. Turned on by and tuned into the evolutionary period in music and life when there was a razor thin line between Rhythm & Blues and Rock & Roll, the band reconnects us all to one universal vibration. Their modern day classics transport the mind, spirit and body back to a sweaty, swinging, heart-thumping speakeasy. Their live shows feel like a sweet southern down-home revival mixed with a gritty, downtown edge. Inspirationally, Otis Redding, Chuck Berry and Ike and Tina Turner can all be felt in woven clothe that tailor-suit the band like honey to the bee. When the buzz tells you they're near, get to them...and be prepared to be moved.
Massively underrated band
Massively underrated comment.
Just found them, via Cat Stevens.
Last week I traveled from Spain to see The Who in Paris. The Who, explosive and brilliant as ever. But the big surprise was discovering Vintage Trouble. It was great. I hope that soon you come to Spain and I can see you in concert again. Thanks for the good time!
That's it! I was shocked to find out not only how very good Vintage Trouble are, but that I could've watched them all night and gone to see The Who some other time!
I will never forget the show that you guys played at The Roxy this past new years eve on the sunset strip. I love the history of The Roxy - so many rock legends have played there since it opened in about 1970. I was, to put it mildly, blown away by the passion, soul and sincerity of these musicians. Ty - you are an unbelievable vocalist and I can't wait to see what's the come for you all. Trying to get tickets to see y'all open up for The Stones while I'm in London this summer. All the best.
Thank you so much for the love and support. Hope to see you out at a show soon!
Simply speechless. Wish my Dad was alive as I would've ensured he get to see you folks live. Amazing and fantastic. Thank you so much for the real music - that's filled our hearts and mind.
Thank you so much. We hope to be down in S. America soon. Truly appreciate the support.
I saw this band opening Ac/Dc concert in Barcelona. They are really good and the singer is one of the best frontman I have ever seen.
I wasn't familiar with this band until they opened for The Who at the Amway Center in Orlando recently, I have been listening to them every day since then and can not wait to see them again. Viva La Vintage!
it has been a LOOOOONG time since I've heard this kind of commitment and fire from a 3 piece rock act WITHOUT the pretenciousness and lack of direction I've endured the past decade or so. these guys KNOW who the are and what they want to do and I,for one, will follow them with keen interest and excitement I've not experienced for (as I said) a LOOOONG time!! thanks for renewing my faith,as well as interest!!
Absolutely fantastic. Saw them supporting Brian May and Kerry Ellis in B'ham, and definitely going again to their gig at the o2 academy 3 in July. And i'm dragging as many of my mates along as possible too! This is talent.
As someone who was here in the room the night this was recorded, singing along....HANDS DOWN BEST PERFORMANCE of Ty and VT ever. Also just a super amazing night of talent all together. Love these guys. They deserve every bit of success they receive.
i'm french , I saw this band live , lenny kravitz guest , wonderfull band !!! vintage style with a lot energy, amazing musicians and incredible singer!!
That my friends is ENTERTAINMENT w/ FEELING...OUTSTANDING
Best live band I've seen in years.
le retour de la bonne musique américaine!!! Splendide
A couple freinds and I are going to Bumbershoot this summer, and literally cannot wait to hear Vintage Trouble live. It looks like they put on a phenominal show!
Saw these guys as opening act with the Who in Ottawa!! Amazing! old time rock n roll..
This brought tears of joy to my eyes. The Letterman performance of "Blues Hand Me Down" is an example of the real thing....
Please come to Montreal.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE you guys! Saw you the first time at the House of Blues in Dallas back in October 2013 (I think it was Oct) and OMG - I could have listened / watched you all night! BY FAR my #1 FAVORITE!!!!
I just discovered this band a couple of days ago thanks to the Tonight Show. Awesome!!!
They need a studio version of this so bad. I saw them open for ACDC and I've followed them since. Phenomenal band.
Yes, I saw them In the ACDC's Barcelona concert and I was very impressed. Probably the best opening band I've ever seen. The singer is a beast on stage.
i know a lot of people, including myself, that we are following them after an ACDC concert, amazing band and the singer is pure energy
I saw them open for The Who in 2013 and I literally commented to my dad that I got James Brown vibes off the lead singer because the guy had so much energy I felt like I was watching the James Brown sequences in both Blues Brothers movies
My god you guys FUCKING ROCK!!!!!! I saw you guys open for AC/DC in Vancouver BC and it was amazing! 15 dislikes from people with 0 musical taste and no respect for talent. That's not an opinion, that's a fact! Keep the music alive! Next time you're in Vancouver I'm going for sure! You guys are playing for the love of music only, in it's purest form. Keep up the good work.
thanks so much. We hope to get to South America real soon. We really cant wait. Keep asking your radio stations and venues for Vintage Trouble and hopefully we will see you soon!
They tore this up, Ty can sang anything, & they can play anything.
Best live band I have ever seen hopefully with the exposure they are currently getting this will be their breakthrough year x
thanks so much. truly. we hope to get back to Italy soon!! ciao
I honestly reckon they're one of the best groups ever... And I've seen a lot of bands! These guys can rock with the best of them... Ty's onstage presence when I saw them at the 02 was like a mix between Otis Redding and James Brown with a new spin... Nalle reminds me of Paul Kausoff from Free - and the Rhythm section are mind bogglingly awesome! Can't wait to see them play again!
Being an old rocker (back in my day) these guys are as refreshing as ZZ Top were when I first heard them in 1976, RnBnRnRoll is alive!
Last year around this time I was on a plane going to Baltimore from Houston. I sat in the front of the plane and I see these guys come into the plane. The energy in the plane is beyond belief and I started to talk with them. It is wonderful to see people like this get recognition. They are honest and true in their work and I am glad to see that is coming back.
I was introduced to your music by a friend this morning and I have just killed 2 hours of my workday listening to your music. Your talent is astounding. I must see you live!
These guys simply say it all for me. Great performance
Miss live music....Vintage Trouble on the top of the list to see. One of my top 5 bands. FABULOUS! Big energy, awesome vocals, awesome band! ♥️
Cannot wait to see you guys on July 8th with my dad! Both of us are hooked already. Going to be an amazing night with you AND The Who
Your show last night in Ottawa with The Who was mind blowing, keep up the good music and the vintage feel we all love.
Doing justice to a masterpiece! ENERGY!!
Excellent - the meaning of this song was why I survived high school and my home life - wonderful to hear being sung so well! Thank you!
VT played this the first time I saw them in Glasgow and I've always hoped they'd do it again on 4 subsequent gigs I've been to. No luck though. Brilliant version.
RIP Joe Cocker
Such a great band !!!!!!
Also a new VT fan. Saw them open for The Who in Anaheim last week. Freakn blew me away!!!!! Nice meet and greet after also. Love these guys!!
so fantastic seeing you at Vinyl at the Hard Rock in Vegas!!! thanks for the pic afterwards with your Vegas Troublemakers :) You kill it live!!! xo
WOW! Absolutely smokin' rock and roll and the 2nd coming of The Godfather all rolled up into one dynamic package! If you ever play Seattle wild horses won't be able to keep me away.

Officially a big fan!
First part of ACDC Paris 26/05/2015 : Great show !
thank you so much. we hope to be in Brasil soon!!!!
Well said, I was at the show last night too, I was blown away.
That is the only time I've EVER come across an act as good as Mr Cocker doing the Beatles classic
Guys, you are awesome! Seriously, you rocked on Rock in Rio! You earned one new fan from Brazil!
tears and soul from Italy.
you're really amazing.
This is the absolute best cover of this tune I've ever heard. These guys sound so TIGHT that you would think they'd been playing together for years(although I understand that's not the case). I envy all of those folks who will be diggin' them for free in Montreal tonite. Have a great show,gents-and when you look out on that amazing crowd, just think.."LONG LIVE ROCK 'N. ROLL" Hope to see you in NYC soon...
I saw VT in Feb opening for the Who. Excellent band. Great energy. Enjoyed the little bit of James Brown vibe. Wasn't sure going in but they did not disappoint. So besides VT the only other opener for the Who I've seen has been the Pretenders(2X). Seeing VT made me go out and get some of their music and I haven't been disappointed. I'm looking forward to them hopefully coming through KC one day.
One of the best performances that i ever seen. This song make me remember some woodstock shows. I'm listening "Blues hand me down" in the last 2 days!
Keep going, vintage trouble, you guys are awesome.
Cheers from Brazil
Incendiary performance! No higher praise to say that every time I listen to your music it reminds me of Cream. Incredible talent across the board!
Pretty freaking amazing, musical talent at its core. Very good cover. I need to see these guys live if still possible.
+Ismael Blanco you really should see them live! they are on tour almost everyday of the year, so that wont be a problem haha, the live experience is absolutely amazing!
thanks so much. we truly appreciate it. hope to see you soon at a show.
Hey Vintage Trouble, amazing! amazing! amazing! Come on over to Utah, we are in desperate need of some real rock!
Holy shit, just discovered this band and I'm blown away. That's saying a lot from a blues hack that hasn't really gotten into any new bands since the late 90's.
Wow! I MUST come to see you in Basel tonight! Can't wait to see you live
Excellent cover, great band, we bow to thee, greetings from Colombia, we hope you receive good vibes from your work
some of the most powerful soul/rock ive seen
It takes balls to cover the Beatles, and tallent to pull it off, you have both! amazing!
I think it was 3 (OR 4) years ago when Y'all first appeared on the JAY LENO SHOW AND i INSTANTLY LIKED These Dudes! :-P
I KNEW THEY'D BE AN AWESOME TRIO! THANKS JAY LENO for Letting TRUE TALENTED SINGERS APPEAR ON YOUR SHOW Because if it hadn't been for that Show, i would've Never known who VINTAGE TROUBLE IS! :-)

My only COMPLAINT here on this Video?? Damn Audience, shut up Already, WE KNOW THEY'RE f-ing AWESOME, BUT shut up AND LET THIS TALENTED Dude SING! :-P :-)
WTF!!! Simply pure awesomeness!
A lot of times I think to myself that there is no such thing as good music anymore, then I find bands like this and realize that are just no good radio stations anymore. Good music is like anything else worth having, it requires some effort. I'm glad I did a little work to find you guys. Awesome band, Awesome sound, The Soul of Rock 'n' Roll lives on!
my god. the passion and energy you guys put into your live performances have turned me to an instant number one fan. i NEED to see you guys live as soon as possible. please tour through Canada and make your way into Winnipeg. Caught you guys at the Who concert in Pittsburgh. You guys were incredible as the Who themselves. I've been waiting for a band like you guys to come around for all eighteen years of my life. Now that 've found you, you're my new fix. :)

iiPotatoes i couldn't agree more, my friend!
I got excited too much. I don’t know what to do lol. VT is the best !!
I just saw them at Bottle Rock and they stole the show. I am so glad I found this band, a shot in the arm for r+b, rock and roll.

Thanks for bringing back soulful music to the forefront!
gentlemen...best version I've heard!
I too just became an instant VT fan after seeing you open up for the Who in Oakland. When I'm at a show where I don't want to miss a minute of the headliners (such as the Who), I usually spend the opening act time making several trips to the bar. But you guys wouldn't let me, dammit! I didn't want to miss a minute of your set either, you had me from the first song. But it's all good, the buzz from the music was better than a beer buzz.
I greet you at the beginning of an illustrious career.
Are. You. Kidding. Me. I'll miss you guys through Massachusetts and New Hampshire, but damn - you guys had better come back around soon!
Saw you last night opening for the Who in Ottawa. You guys were amazing, I was very impressed with the quality of your sound, your songs. the way you guys move and the sweet moustache of your drummer. You guys have a new fan.
LOVE IT !!!!!!!!!!
My god i can't stop playing this song!
very good guys a second to mr cocker i am now a real fan of vintage trouble
This guy absolutely snaps
You are kicking ass. Amazing music, amazing effort.

So soulful and artistic!
Same here, good bands playing interesting music are so hard to find these days.
Awesome! Cant wait to see you live!
Love it- powerful version. Kicks ass!
