    Every time I swap live center for drill chuck to drill a depth hole, I think about how much simpler and faster it would be to use a hand-held drill bit. Thanks for giving me the prod I need to get this done.

    Well Joe, its almost a piece of Art! For a tool handle you probably overdid it this time but I like watching the technique you put into anything, even a simple project like this. I made a nylon handle for a small drill chuck which holds any size up to 10mm. Currently it holds a 7mm drill bit. Having those drills ready to go in a fixed handle could speed things up though. I will think about it! 😎
