I really enjoyed your video. However, when it comes to describing the push in USD, I wouldn't justify it solely based on revised FED economic projections. While this is certainly part of the picture, if you look closely at what’s happening in the Eurozone, you can clearly see that the OAT/Bund spread is now very wide. French and German bonds are over 70bps apart, indicating a risk environment sentiment in the EUR. Given the EUR/USD reverse correlation, after money flows out of the Euro, it will likely move into a safer asset like the USD.

I have been a total technal analysis traders since I started out, but watching your videos and seeing all the data that is correlating to the market moves has made me keen to learn more. COT filing for gold shown in the video is just for non commercial sector, what about commercial sector report? I believe it should also be integrated into edgefinder for gold due to its votality
The EdgeFinder's COT data showcases non-commercial positioning. The reason for this is that non commercial positioning is specific to speculative investment/trading done by large institutions.
This means they are actively betting on future market direction in some capacity. Conversely, commercial positioning is simply activity used to hedge business exposure, and has no speculative nature behind it.
For example, a gold mining company may short gold futures in order to offset some of their risk exposure to the price of gold. This is not necessarily anticipation that gold prices could fall, but rather simply to reduce risk. Commercial activity is not something we consider to be useful in tracking what professional speculators (non-commercial) think will happen next.
