- Hi everyone! In this video, I take you on a silent walking tour of Funchal, the capital of Madeira. We start our walk at the CR7 Cristiano Ronaldo Museum and walk along the seafront, before ending our adventure at the Fortress of São Tiago.
As this is a silent walk, you get to experience the sights and sounds of the city in your own way, without any commentary.

Great Video! Keep up the good work! We go to Funchal for the first time in a few days. Your videos help greatly in my advance research! I find most videos of Madeira focus on extreme adventure rather than a more relaxing holiday! Good history lesson too!

That's not to say there aren't spots you cannot relax and forget about life, but they do seem to cater more for the adventurous types. Beautiful walk, Willie. Nice to watch on a freezing night! I was thinking there can't be many sunbathers due to such a rocky beach but there they all were at the end😂

Looks like a great city Willie. Kind of place where going for a stroll on the promenade is always a pleasure. With the musician it's kind of difficult because you want to record them but you cant stop the video to dig a coin out of your pocket to give them 😅 yellow taxis and buses look cool, good preview for the yellow building at the end.

Really Enjoyed this walking tour Willie! 👍👍 Have you any idea what the weather is like there in end of March?? I have a holiday coming up in end of March, and would appreciate a suggestion where I could go for some heat 20-25 degrees at least, in Europe or possibly North Africa for a cheap 7 day holiday.
