It's crazy listening to this knowing the dynamics of DV behind the scenes. Her mother knew that Darius was beating her daughter and she is sitting there with him. 😮 Keke is delusional about relationships. I hope that she gets the healing she needs and never ever return to this fool.

People need to really WAKE UP! Unfortunately, in MOST domestic v-i-o-l-e-n-c-e situations, it involves BOTH engaging in DV. It's a very unfortunate truth.
Most women, today, are not docile, soft spoken and innocent, at all, as was the case decades ago. MOST women are loud 🔊 spoken, aggressive and don't know when to shut the heck up and keep the peace. Why? They haven't been reared in households with their fathers and have NO idea how to manage a man which is another reason MOST can't keep a man, at all.
The fact that Keke, Keke's mom and Keke's boyfriend, at the time, appeared together (even with the mother admitting she KNEW a year earlier of his "abuse") should tell EVERYONE what was really going on behind the scenes. Everything isn't always as it seems. Keke is no shrinking violet.🥴
Keke has emotional, mental issues herself which is the only reason someone who's worked so hard to accomplish all that she has would belittle herself and CHOOSE to be a baby mama rather than a WIFE. There's no way that could be me. Healthy people tend to behave and move, differently.
When I see "Keke Palmer" I click so fast! I am NEVER disappointed. I love the visual for the podcast.

Is she said she sas WORRIED about having the money to pay for things and that made people turn their head abit... security is important in relationships. first it shocked me to know you are worried financially alone but to worry financially when your husband is ALSO successful. why are you worried ? Would your husband not help you?
That's what got me. If you aren't making enough to not worry why is he not supplying enough to eliminate that fear

It’s interesting that ONLY black woman tend to be so flexible on what a man brings to the table but then get taken advantage of and feel so defeated if the man tries to leave because they feel like they contributed so much to the relationship. I will never do that again. Also, to say that a woman should have as much as the man she dates in a world where men get paid more and he is supposed to be the provider and potential father/husband is beyond crazy. As a woman in tech with six figures, high credit score, financial literacy and assets my partner needs to have more than that. Just my take. Good luck though

As a man, I can understand what you are saying to an extent. I just hope women who have that expectation are also putting out in other ways. It is insane to have provider/protector expectations of a man and not want to submit to him. If I am providing and protecting, all I ask is that my woman respect me and allow me to lead our family, in love, to greatness.

I love Keke and her family and I always wondered why when she was much younger she sounded like a very confident woman full of personality and I knew she was a copy of her mom and wanted to see her mom. I am a woman who is my mother and I recognized that in her and now look we got a pod with boffum 😊

Yeah. This is why you don't date men who aren't able to care for you both emotionally AND financially, ladies. Darius is about to try and take everything Keke worked for because she convinced herself she deserved less. Any man who believes in going 50/50 with you at baseline isn't someone who truly values you..because you better believe when he's actually financially stable, he WILL find a woman he'll 100% cover and it's not going to be YOU--the woman who lowered her standards for him. Hope everything works out regardless.
