my career started working for Cult fit and eat fit which is a gym chain , Earlier I used to work for healthcare and pharmacompany GSKplc as a ui ux design then switched to ecommerce and logistics and now a fintech company from 2025 . The role is consistently same but the industries are different .
Thank you for this! This helped a lot since I often tell people Im a photographer, videographer, graphic designer. I'll be sure to niche it a bit more!
That's not what it really means to niche down. You can still be photographer, graphic designer. But only serve a specific market. E.g. I am a photographer who do wedding photography. Being a photographer is too generic
Chris, I’d love to hear your perspective: Do you think designers should showcase branding and typography work across a range of industries to highlight versatility, or focus their expertise on serving a specific industry to attract high-paying clients? I’ve been wrestling with this dilemma, sometimes i think it's not ideal to serve a specific niche as this might reject those other industries who need your expertise otherwise specializing in what I do while staying open to anyone who needs my expertise is probably better. i am not sure what's more fulfilling in the long-term, I’d truly value your thoughts.
I love that all strategies are autobiographical. I love this long video love the short videos just pretty much love being here thanks, Chris.

I feel the same way. I do a lot of services from graphic design to web. I need to pick one and go with that.

What i would do if my clients postponed the cash for a long time that they were about to give me.
Did you provide them services? Or waiting for payment to start?
@thefutur Yes, I provided service for them then we talked about the payment and they haven't paid me yet.
Can you please send me some graphic design lessons for beginners
