The intention of Bhagavad Gita is for providing a general awareness for attaining liberation.
Someone who has not attained any liberation at all, they have the false ego that makes them assume the positions they are not worthy of and create problems there.
Without complete liberation beings carry most of their karma load to purgatory and rebirth after - about 30% of world population, I would say.
Those who attained liberation join consciousness who has connection with divine consciousness, they express kindness and/or joy. They pay for their deeds (karmas) on daily or at the most monthly basis. Millions of different types. Each consciousness has it's own likeness. Same like how we have different groups here; some are like minded and some are not.
Those consciousness who are not connected to divine consciousness will do service most often to feel that joy. They have not attained full liberation, by being so they have lost their false ego, and gained some intelligence to perform materal work.
It is a choice of each being belonging to a particular consciousnes.
Each consciousness in together act as one person. When they die they return to their consciousness.
There is an order in the creation and there is a divine intelligence beyond human comprehension.

The intention of Bhagavad Gita is for providing a general awareness for attaining liberation. The specifics/philosophy need not to be true, same like any other religious scriptures. Those who have intelligence learn these deeply and is a way for them to attain liberation. While living, there is nothing wrong in believing that this is true. Actually, if you don't belong to a faith your life will look purposeless. It gives you the vigor to move forward in a righteous direction. But over attachment to any religious philosophy will breed contempt towards other religions and thereby social issues. So, the practice of detachment form the philosophy is needed. You practice religious sadhana for your mental benefit and a righteous life. Don't give a lot of importance to philosophy based on Gods. God is the one that grants you liberation, if you are yearning for it. Everything else, is for your righteousness life. Even Bhagavad Gita, each chapter is dedicated to a way of life, one can choose the one which they prefer to attain liberation.

Knowledge as we call as wisdom is not developed through sadhana. Someone is born with it. They belong to that kind of particular consciousness, and when they grow - through sadhana or life events it will become more evident. From the time, they can talk they will display it in some form or other. It's like a mirror coverd with dust at early stages, and gradually it becomes clearer day by day. It is taught in such a way that it is true for everyone, but it's only true for that particular kind of consciousness, not everyone.
"Somadaty thadhiva cha" which sloka&chapter number. Those who knows reply, please.
