Yes! The XR350R 6-speed is arguably the most versatile and reliable stump-jumper thumper ever produced. The 350R really hit the sweet spot and was a competitive machine in the right hands. They have lots more grunt than the 250R and lots less weight than the 600R. I've had my 350R since 1989, original engine, never rebuilt due to relatively low hours. It leaks a tiny bit out of the right case cover gasket. I've had a replacement gasket since I bought it, but it has not yet been worth the effort to replace, as it's been ridden infrequently since I've owned it. I prefer my carb'ed 250-300 KTMs. They're not impossible to stall (w/o Rekluse), but darn near, pull harder, the suspension is better, they're lighter, narrower, much newer (parts standardization/availability) and easily overhauled. Plus, there's something about riding a chainsaw with wheels in the woods that just feels right. Take good care of the old Honda. They're fantastic bikes.

Well thank you for the thoughtful and thorough comment. I have two XR600Rs……. a 1986 and a 1992. They are great but you’re right the 350R feels like a little nimble tractor. One thing I’ve learned is people who have owned and raced these little 350Rs have a special relationship with them. They really do have a small yet big hearted feel to them. I have to say I really like the special ride of these bikes over the newer faster bikes and who hasn’t had a love affair for these bikes since they came out in the mid 80s? I was all about my Interceptor 500 and the Ninja 600 back in the 80s but man when I see a Flash Red Honda it time warps me back to high school and a much more innocent and simple time. Cheers brother. Show your 350 some love and let me know if you ever decide to part with it. Maybe I’ll adopt it from you :) 🤜🤛

I don't have suggestions as to what to do to it next. But it already looks like something good to go to battle with. I will say I've had quite a few folks come out of the blue expressing the "want" for my white bros muffler. I do like stock exhaust, but the white bros gives a bit of a hop-up in power and sounds great. I have a white bros muffler just like yours accept the tail piece is different. There are no discs in the end. The flow comes through a baffle tube that sticks out the end. Can be seen in this video... (and others)...
    Try this...

But anyway, I rode the hell out of my 1982 xr500r which is a great bike still running today with out having been disassembled yet or bastardized. Those 80's bikes had a lot going for them and were great! Hell, prior to the 1982 xr500r, I was riding trail with the TR5MX. A triumph 500. Now we're talking about the real old days! I'll add one more thing... It's early morning on a thursday. And I'm heading out to the mountains today for a solo run into the forest!
    Keep on riding!
