Just do it...... i have a tiny bedsit room, just use small speakers, you can always take it with you when you move........ pin the wires to the wall, and an oval piece of metal screwed into back of speaker that hangs over the top of speaker and screw into wall like a picture..... easy peasey,and will do for now to get the sounds you want...... Version 2.5 basically squashed all the bugs.. I had the xmc-2 since day 1 and I will say the unit was buggy with 1.4.. but gradually the fixed most of them periodically. Moving to the rmc with updated versions still no bugs.. 1 issue the processors have is arc and cec.. I don't use it.. use an external device.. Version 3.0 coming soon states they fixed all arc and cec issues. We'll see. Congrats on the processor. Glad u like it.
Ur gonna love it when u run dirac On preset 1 run dirac and on preset 2 run it again but bump up the subs like 3-6db and see which u like better or if a movie needs a lil help with it’s lfe u just use preset 2 and if it’s sounds a lil to much for certain movies use preset 1 and ur set
You can just run it 1 time on preset 1 make different adjustments and save you can do up to 3 on each presets just name them on what you boasted like bass boast center boast
in the process of upgrading my home theater as well…im upgrading from Denon & Bose considering Emotiva was offering 20% off of $2000+…i replaced everything, lol…great channel btw
I loved mine I just did the trade they gave me a little more than the average receiver but I tried mine for an RMC-1L But I know you’re gonna love it it sounds amazing without any calibration already I was blown away it was my very first processor and it serve me well no negative thoughts on it at all
it sounds like, at least so far, it’s gonna meet your expectations and that’s great. hopefully when all this great gear is in place and calibrated you have an “Ahhh” moment. you’re gonna have an awesome theater when all is said and done.

New update just came out. I love my xmc2. Incredible sound!
I am sure the Outlaw will put out more than the rated watts. ATI designs them so it probably more like 150 watts per channel.
