Without Gravity, without HighJump, one cannot get out of deep bright sand within water using jumps with or without falling sand above it (in PAL and NTSC). But with HighJump, one can get out of the bright sand with falling sand above it relatively easy, and it would actually work without falling sand above it, too, but that would require some more complicated crouch jumps that involve an angle button (even in NTSC). But, in PAL, one could even IBJ. out of deep bright sand and do some high jumps that would even suffice to leave this room.
