I love when you continue the voiceover while we are watching footage of him using that disc. Makes the ITB so much more fun to watch (and more useful).
Thanks so much for getting this video up Ian, made my day. Always cool to see what your favorite player is throwing. Huge thanks to Nate for letting us peek in!
Oh! I've always wanted to do one of these. For anyone who is too lazy to watch: Putt & Approach - Discmania P2 D-Line DX Aviar R-Pro Dart (2x) Midranges - 11x KC Pro Roc Champion Roc3 Hyzerbomb Mortor (Frontline X Plastic) Fairways - Star Teebird S-Line PD Star Leopard3 Champion Thunderbird Distance - Star Sexton Firebirds (3x, 1 2016 and 2 2015s) Star Sidewinder Champion Orc Star Destroyers (4x, 1 griffin stamp, 1 brand new, 2 some-what worn) Lizotte PD2 C-Line Echostar Excaliber
Awesome job Ian and company. You guys are putting out the stuff we want to see. Nate Sexton is an awesome human and phenominal ambassador of the Sport. Good luck to Nate on the rest of his season and keep the content coming!
I loved the examples of the shots being shown right after with the disc that is being talked about. I think it will really help people visualize what certain discs are capable of and make these in the bag videos even more useful. I just know stuff sinks in to my brain easier if I can see it being used as apposed to just talking about the shot. Still kinda new to the sport but Ive been trying to work on forehand rollers and hearing about his disc he uses for it(teebird I believe?) and then a clip of it being executed perfectly really helps me understand the shot most are just describing. Thanks CCDG & Mr Sexton!
A. really REALLY nice bag, Mr Sexton, probably one of the most innovative bags since I first saw bags that double as seats. B. For sure I would love to get my hands one one of those Supreme Flight Signature Darts, been waiting for them since I heard they were happening. I throw them and have for a bit now and most of my friends fall in love after a short round of warm-up catch. Was able to eventually find one of the newer signature model firebirds, wow, what a great disc. Haven't thrown a first run color glow but I'll be on the lookout. Great video, stoked to see more videos with him in it, loved his commentary on chumps v champs 2.
Well one thing you should know is a lot of the discs that these pros use are good for them because they have so much technique. It's not easy to learn with advanced discs. It's better to start off with slower beginner level disks so that you can have more control. Eventually after practicing with the more beginner level disks you will be able to throw faster, more advanced discs easier because you will have gained technique. And even though there are beginner level disks doesn't mean they are bad either.. In fact there is a world champion pack at dicks sporting goods that contains an Innova® Blizzard Champion Boss Distance Driver, Innova® Champion Roc 3 Mid Range Driver, and a Innova® KC Pro Aviar Putter, and a bag for $60 (You may already know that these disks are used often in the PDGA, sometimes just in different plastics). But once again, it can really make the learning process a whole lot easier so I'm just making a suggestion.
Yeah, I've got a wide variety in my bag, ranging from stuff like Arc Angels and VRocs all the way up to a Champion Boss and a Star Destroyer. I'm in that area of skill building where I'm starting to make some of the transitions to higher-level disks, but still utilize the basic ones. Thanks for the tips, though.
Yay Sexton! has been one of my favorite discgolfers. Remember his ace at winthrop for the opening of that "other disc golf show"? CCDG is the best tho...for sure!!!
Loved the video. I forehand a lot but don't use latitude so Rick's wasn't helpful. Glad to finally see what Nate uses because I love his style. Awesome vid
Yeah! Leopard all the way. I don't know why the leopard isn't used more. It's an awesome touch annie disc. It let's you so tiny to big anhyzers very easily. I love it. Star plastic is my favorite too.
ok so i personally use the echo star plastic, for teebirds and katanas, 1 destroyer. Hopefully this question can find nate. why is the x cal the only disc in echo he carries? why not star or champ. if its distance forehand? In my opinion the grip is just a little better.
Wow Nate really simplified his bag! I am surprised he didn't mention that the backpack has a camel back style water bladder? Thanks for the video. Seems like he didn't have too much to say about the discs he uses.
It was the 2016 "Sextothorpe" that Pound released on a limited basis and is no longer being produced. I have one if you're interested ;) I'd happily use the money for a 2017 purple one.
He was referring to the little pieces of plastic that pop out after hitting something with your disc. They feel horrible on your hand so he sands them down. In the PDGA rules it says you can repair damage but can not alter your disc as you stated.

Best in the bag video I've seen, and the bag is sexy too!
Such a great mix of commentary with spliced in footage of shots with those discs. I"m sure that was a lot of work -- but the result is phenomenal.
+Christopher Loverich thanks so much!
Nate Sexton is my favorite disc golfer 100%
Tom Permanent spot in your top 8 😊
Where's the slippy champ aviar from the starter pack? That's a great raincover, also. good vid
I love when you continue the voiceover while we are watching footage of him using that disc. Makes the ITB so much more fun to watch (and more useful).
"And If you thought this was an accident, it wasn't" Best line of the vid. Great Video also!
Thanks so much for getting this video up Ian, made my day. Always cool to see what your favorite player is throwing. Huge thanks to Nate for letting us peek in!

Great ITB video. Footage of throws with voice over is awesome. Thanks CCDG Now we need Paul and Simon ITB 2016 :)
Soon as he pulled the Teebird I knew the LaMirada footage was coming. I love Feldbeard's reaction on that. "....Really?" :P
+Nitron2097 I delayed putting this out just to get that shot it :)
Nice.

Nice to see an itb video with discs i know. Very clean looking bag and functional.
Let's get some ITB videos from the central coast crew!
Connor Klingbeil this would be gold!
Great ITB. Love Nate. Wish I could afford one of these awesome bags.
I can't imagine how long it took to pull of all of those clips on specific discs. Wow! Best in the bag yet.
Thanks for the video Ian. Hope Nate can gets some wins going!
Why is Sexton just the best! The guy is just a great guy all around!

Well, I'm apparently using all the right discs. Now all I need is some skill and talent to go with them. LOL. 8-)

Tim Kreitz Adventures Awesome, you got everything figured out then... But no problem.
Nice video, love the active shots.

I would love to see all the in the bags to show the player throwing that discs and how they throw it. that was great
Nicely done Gentleman.
Nate is soooo smooth!
Very nice Nate Sexton commercial! I'll take one!

No signature Sexton DD?
Yeah! Leopard all the way. I don't know why the leopard isn't used more. It's an awesome touch annie disc. It let's you so tiny to big anhyzers very easily. I love it. Star plastic is my favorite too.
Dat Sextothorpe... If only Pound had a massive production. Amazing bags, but difficult to get your hands on.
A new Paul McBeth or Simon Lizotte in the bag video, would be awesome!

Finally yes!!
Is that bag available for purchase?
How come I can't find star sexton firebirds anywhere?
Seems like a great disc golfer. One of those nice guys.
I might have to try out a side winder since I heard they were good rollers and I don't really have a disc I can reliably roll. Great video by the way.
i have a 150g starlite mamba that you can't not roll. i love it.
I also roll a Star Lite Mamba
Wow Nate really simplified his bag! I am surprised he didn't mention that the backpack has a camel back style water bladder? Thanks for the video. Seems like he didn't have too much to say about the discs he uses.
I also think the comment saying the griffin flies like a destroyer is hilarious at 7:35
He mentioned the bladder. Did I accidentally cut that part out?
+Central Coast Disc Golf ya you must have cause it's not in the video.
+Welcome to the real world dammit, I'll post it and add a link.
Central Coast Disc Golf Its all good. I believe you and we can see it. We are here for Nate obviously. not the bag.
nice and honest
what do these bags go for?
Nate is too cool.
Where can I find the octothorpe that looks like that with the turquoise and grey I can't find it
It was the 2016 "Sextothorpe" that Pound released on a limited basis and is no longer being produced. I have one if you're interested ;) I'd happily use the money for a 2017 purple one.

+Central Coast Disc Golf ahhh I knew somebody said it. thanks for the great vids keep it up.
+Jacob Terrell well I mean technically I did say it, but i was on jomezs channel so I can't be held accountable :p
Shit yea KC Pro Roc is my jam
Hmmm I thought it wasn't allowed to clip or burn or sand or alter your discs?
+Peter Mobius it's fine if you're repairing damage.
He was referring to the little pieces of plastic that pop out after hitting something with your disc. They feel horrible on your hand so he sands them down. In the PDGA rules it says you can repair damage but can not alter your disc as you stated.
Best in the bag video I've seen, and the bag is sexy too!
