As always I love your fantastic swipe art! I am a big fan Cathleen! I catch myself dancing with your beautiful music while watching your videos. It’s always a fun experience watching you. Thank you so much.
It's great to see the difference between the brush painted and flooded base coat results and this colour combo is great - an industrial metallic feel - LOVE it! BRAVO and thank you for the inspiration!
@@COZCreationsArt - So am I, that is why I have been 'trolling' your channel to also get more ideas and hope to be prepared for it...🤣🤣 It almost feels like having to write an exam😜, but at least one I am looking forward to. We are getting the vac's on Wed...but I don't foresee any pronlems.
I love the first painting because of all of the texture. It is reminiscent of a brisk and foggy morning on the harbour. Absolutely stunning! The second painting reminds me of a thick layer of ice covering a white marble fountain wall. The depth in the colors used are breathtaking. It is so realistic to me that I feel the chill. Both paintings are amazing.
I stayed a way from any form of painting for few months, I got so overwhelmed by all the new people, and ideas being posted on UA-cam. I do, still watch some people for inspiration, but somehow I can’t move. I love your work, almost all of your stuff talks to me. You are my inspiration, thank you for posting , 😘🌺
I was definitely tapping my toes to these tunes. If only I had my toes in sand and a drink in my hand 🤣. Love both of these, but I love just about everything you do!
Mornin Miss Cathleen! I'm on about my 4th or 5th watch of this piece. The 'drag' makes me wanna jump and shout... but being careful not to spill the Java. This vid is absolutely the cats jammies as far as things to learn... however how subtle... it is crazy brilliant. Oddly I miss the deep snowy landscapes of Canada... and this color way feeds that. Sighing and watching you manifest the shimmer... well... Good Morn my friend. Fabulously done... and not a snow shovel in sight! Lovely.... yes Ma'am! ❤
These paintings are beautiful! I'm sure everyone sees something different, but for me the first one made me homesick for the beaches I grew up on, for some reason (maybe texture and color) it reminded me of a driftwood board that washed up on the beach. Fighting tears as I type! Thank you! Take care!!
Both pieces are stunning Cathleen but I adore the heavy texture of the first one in particular. Another new technique and you NAILED it (as usual). Happy Sunday night:)
Amazing results with the first one. Reminds me of a city silhouette over water after dark with clouds ..the second one to me is more abstract but still brilliant..once again Cathleen you have not disappointed with your wonderful work.
You are amazing! I love your style to do things, you explain the process, technique, colors and then you let us enjoy the music while you create beautiful stuffs Thank you!
Wow so beautiful love the drag and the different effects can’t wait to try it should be in a gallery too thank you for your great humour and gorgeous art
Your talent is so inspiring! If at first you don’t swipe, swipe swipe again. It’s funny because I thought one and done with swiping. I learn so much from you! ❤️🌈❤️
So cool! I've discovered I prefer playing with textured paintings, so had stopped experimenting with fluid pouring. You have inspired me to go back to the drawing board. I see endless possibilities for me with your first method. Thank you.
Love the first one with all the ridges and skips, the second one is simply gorgeous but, I do like how you did the first one. They are both gorgeous Cathleen❤✌❤✌❤
Cathleen, interesting how these two techniques create different end results. I could not pick a favorite but the first reminded me of a harbor😊 Thanks for sharing your ideas and beautiful paintings. ❤️,Pam
The first one is my favorite looks like a frozen lake...the colours are beautiful on both and that shimmer!! I hope it stays once dried!! I love your creativity!!!
I started this today when I happened to see my notification you just posted. Been anxious to be able to fully watch. Wow. So worth the wait. Eye candy oh yeah. 😊
Both are cool...like the first the best. Think I might try one with the brush stroke on base coat vertical. You always manage to come up with little twists. Interesting that you take inspiration from art you see everywhere...come home and challenge yourself. 😜🤩
Michelle I’m inspired by so many things. I see expensive art in gallery’s and say to myself. Hum 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 I think I can do that. Love playing with those paints 😊🎨
@@COZCreationsArt Interesting you say that...the reason I began to paint to begin with was because...I was with new partner (years ago) and we were moving into a new apartment and decorating. Went to look for art for walls and saw the prices (even of prints) and said same thing...I think I can do that. Friends laughed but guess what...I COULD!
These are both gorgeous but I think I like the extra texture on the brush paint canvas. But the pearls in the other one are nice too. Nice video to show the comparison.
These both turned out beautiful. I admit I had some trepidation about you doing the dry drag but it’s beautiful. I love the texture in that and as another person commented it looks like a skyline on the water with low clouds around some of the buildings. I always enjoy your work and know I’m going to see something I love.
Hello Stacey, so good to see you. Thank you so much. The dry swipe turned out beautiful. Lots of texture. It also dried so quick. It was a fun experiment 😊🎨
What can I say my fav. colors again.. Both are glorious.. Lovin' them.. Hi from Canada !
Love them both....stunning & so elegant, beautiful shimmery, muted colours......gorgeous !
Thank you Cynthia. One of my favorites right there.

The drag that was created by going perpendicular to the base coat added a fantastic dimensionality! Txz so much for sharing! Jeanne
Jeanne thank you 😊
I love the way you swipe. I think that would be very calming.
Judith it is very relaxing. I’m a swiping kinda girl 😊🎨

Both pieces are wonderful in their own right. Very different and both beautiful.
Many thanks Karen 😊
You are the Queen of swipes...IMOP. Creative and Beautiful.
I was definitely tapping my toes to these tunes. If only I had my toes in sand and a drink in my hand 🤣. Love both of these, but I love just about everything you do!
Katheryn thank you. Toes in the sand is always a good thing 😊
I really like the gentleness of the colors, very soothing.
Thank you Sharon
Shimmery and shiny. Love them both.💕💕💕
Thank you always Vicki
As far as I am concerned, you are the master of the swipe. The6 are beautiful and I love this color palette.
And you Daniel are to kind. Many thanks. I had a good “Teach” 😊🎨
First one perfect harbour city scene. Lovely!!
Thank you again Ellen 😊
The first one is a beautiful frozen city by the water. The second one is pretty too!
I like that Gloria. “Frozen City” thank you. Hope you are doing well. 😊🎨

Karren thank you 😊🎨
Just had to watch again for inspiration. Love them both and the first one reminded me of trees and castles near a lake. 💕💐💕
This piece is absolutely stunning. They both are
Donna thank you. I love the dry swiped one. So much texture 😊

Jeanne please don’t cry. I see a city scapes. 😊
Oh how I adore you such a ray of shire. So full of simple joy. Oh and I love your work
😊😊😊😊😊😊 thank you
I LOVE the drag! Terrific textures! But I must admit, seeing the swipe with a basecoat go straight to the edge, is satisfying. Fantastic pieces xxx
Melissa I agree. The dry base has so much texture though. I’m loving that 😊
Hello Cathleen, your pictures so beautiful and the shimmery colours ...super👍❤ thanks for sharing. Doris from Germany
Doris from Germany 🇩🇪 thank you always 😊
So shimmery! So beautiful! Number one is special! Wow! Number 2 is even shinier if that possible! Both are wonderful. I see $$$$ in both of them. 😁

Both pieces are stunning Cathleen but I adore the heavy texture of the first one in particular. Another new technique and you NAILED it (as usual). Happy Sunday night:)
Lori thank you. I love the texture with the un-flooded canvas. Gonna play more with this 😊🎨
Amazing results with the first one. Reminds me of a city silhouette over water after dark with clouds ..the second one to me is more abstract but still brilliant..once again Cathleen you have not disappointed with your wonderful work.
Gail thank you always for your kind words 😊🎨
Love the first one. Love the drag. It looked like clouds and yhe bottom was a smooth reflection of a far off city. Love it.
Thank you Elaine 😊
Both of these are gorgeous but the first one....Oooooh I so love the effects and texture on that one!!♥
Thank you again Evie. Yes the texture is wonderful. It’s cool swiping on a un-flooded canvas 😊🎨

Patricia thank you 😊
You are amazing! I love your style to do things, you explain the process, technique, colors and then you let us enjoy the music while you create beautiful stuffs Thank you!
Lilian thank you so much for those smiling words. I don’t like to talk when I’m painting. It distracts me. I like just getting in the zone 😊🎨
The 1st one looks like a futuristic city on edge of lake! 😍
I see the city as well Rita 😊
Love that first one with all its texture - reminds me of a harbour city with all the yacht masts - gorgeous :)
Mandy thank you 😊
Zeer mooi waar kan ik die kleuren vinden hier in België vind ik ze niet. Graag meer uitleg in het Nederlands.
