If you can give a rough sketch of the items needed to make such an extruder it will avoid the enthusiasts to procure the right materials for fabricating such an extruder. Thanks and Kudos for your DIY which will definitely invite the attention of serious DIYers.

    • @RockoShaw
      @RockoShaw 9 місяців тому

      @@function3Dhello again thanks for the link. using the information you provide and doing some calculations the maths say that you need about 27.77~ hours to make 1kg of PET, without taking into account bottle preparation and stuff. this was calculated using 18cm of filament per minute and an average 1.5L bottle giving you 5m in total of filament. Does this sounds about or approximately right to you?

    • @function3D
      @function3D  9 місяців тому

      @@RockoShaw I have never made 1.5L bottles that give only 5m, not worth it, the ones you see in my videos are the dark blue 1.5L that give me 25g or 10m each, I do not take into account the times, it takes 40 for 1 kg, or 8L bottles as I explain in the information that I give you.

    • @function3D

      El extrusor original de la enter3 es muy malo, prueba afloja al máximo el muelle, al ser un filamento hueco la presión lo aplasta y aplastado se atasca, sino tendrías que ponerle el rojo de doble engranaje de AliExpress por 10€, eso sí tendrás que recalcular los pasos, te debería ir mucho mejor sin necesidad de extrusión directa
