Alpha Phi Omega having a hard time stopping hazing

"We talked with our fraternity brothers and sisters to stop hazing altogether but we cannot do that overnight."
Atty. Norma Singson-de Leon, national executive vice president of the Alpha Phi Omega fraternity, admits that fraternities have been having a difficult time to stop their members from performing hazing since the Anti-Hazing Act of 2018 was signed into law. She is also asking schools to be more active in monitoring the admission of new members in fraternities.

The title is very misleading because as early as 2004 (if my memory serves me right) APhiO Philippines is doing the best to stop hazing in the organization. And MOST of the collegiate chapters are abiding with our APO Pledge Program already and nevertheless, the whole APhiO organization is very strict in the NO HAZING policy since the APP has launched from day one. Our National Council is very strict already with the IRRs about the APP and that includes the Anti-Hazing Law.
