Yes, the main reason is: We need to get many many duplicates for a better modifier RNG. And tower equipment is perfect because it's easy to farm. For river snails, it's just out of convenience to get concentration without wasting weathered stone. So it doesn't really matter actually.

snapshot is like a bug feature that ChilliRoom intented to maintain it for more profit from selling that class badge in shop. Sooner or later, ChilliRoom will nerf or patch that bug.

It is actually a combination of Strength from minion power, Toxic damage, Extra Toxic Damage, All Damage, and Critical Damage + Bonus damage from Toxic Cloud Skill. The more status you have before the transformation, the higher status you will get after the transformation. Example: 100 Toxic Damage becomes 150 after transform, and 400 Toxic Damage becomes 600. Imo you need blowout more, its really helpful in the current meta. Also hyperfocus hex only increases attack speed, so it might not be the best option. Energy shield is also better than lifesteal if you have to pick 1 (because there is mortal pact for lifesteal already) Also where is bonded summon? its the main FB for shinobi

It's the lowest of all and worse than any classes on SC, because bleed damage isn't calculated on SC.
But for farming, it's okay-ish
