Sri Govindaji is the predominating deity of Manipur. The Govinda ji temple was established by Maharaja Rajarshi Bhagyachandra (Ching-Thang- Khomba) in the year 1776 where the famed Rasa-leela was introduced as was instructed to the king by Sri Govinda ji Himself in a dream. At present the worship of Sri Raseshwori Govinda continues with deep adoration, reverence and devotion.

Guest house is under construction. Prasadam facility is there, need to book in advance. Govindajee temple is barely 5km from Imphal Airport. There are many guesthouses just next to the temple. I do not have contact number of temple office.
