I paused to read to other artists on cover: Lucy Pearl and “Rahsaan Patterson: Underground Hero”. Such a funky groove, his voice reminds me of Raphael Saddiq. We were so spoiled with greatness in the 90s; even our forgotten and sadly overlooked artists were way better than most of the chart toppers of today. It’s not just nostalgia; the deep soul and musicality was connected to a different era of humanity.
