This led me to a spiritual assignment at a certain congregation in the Atlanta area... just to put me in proximity to my REAL assignment: 2819 Church! Pray about it... pray a dangerous prayer... I'm talking about a "Here am I, send me [to 2819]" type of prayer, and wait for God's response. I couldn't be happier about all I'm learning and my spiritual growth! I'll keep you in prayer, Janice! I only have one tiny observation..."why does the preacher/pastor keep saying_'hear my heart'? I know one must understand the context of what he is saying. Not condeming but more like asking _'is it best to say that..if knowing our heart is deceitful? Guess its because I heard it from somewhere else that the minute someone start to say "hear my heart' from the pulpit- RUN! Well, as you see...I am still here b/c I am trying to give the benefit of doubt...🧐🤔. But apart from that...I have been blessed. So, Help Lord
I do not celebrate Christmas, it is a pegan holiday invented by the romans. So is decorating a tree,it was used in many ancient rituals to celebrate their gods. I celebrate the lord every day and not need to wait one day out if the yr to do so. I also do not celebrate new yrs and most other holidays. If you look up the origin of them you will find out it doesn't have anything to do with Christ. I am not condemning anyone I am just saying to look into it more.

There is no five fold ministry cause pastors and teachers is a dual function, he pastors in overseeing his members spiritual lives, and he teachers by instructing them in the Word. Which is why scripture teaches us that a women can not preach or teach nor usurp the authority over a man, 1 Timothy 2 :12, unfortunately these are the times we are living in today
