Thanks Chuck for showing us a squirrel mount! I just recently found two road killed squirrels not even an hour dead and am waiting now to skin them out (gotta kill those fleas first in the freezer!). At the parent's place for the summer and my mom's been hounding me about what I'm doing with them. Now I can finally give her an answer!
can you make a Video about "Tanning" ? Like the different types of tanning methods. I know you may send large hides out for the tanning, but can you show and eaplain the tanning process. What is the best for what hides? How to do a tan at home? Ect..... THanks
Hi Chuck, I did a video on skinning squirrel feet completely out to the last joints. to see, just go to T.H. Taxidermy and look for skinning squirrel feet. I said I would do it and I did. It is possible.
