Tullah Lake looked amazing! BB, you did an outstanding job setting up this ride for those amazing folks. Thank you for taking us along with you on the journey.
Nice video to start your Tassie Tour episodes. 👌 I agree with you there about the Hydro and it's history, no computers or lasers back in those days, just slide rules and paper and a pencil. Truly amazing. Looking forward to your next episode.👍
Super cool episode. TazzyT is a legend lol. Love how he just has all his gold panning shite on the ready! Haha Tasmania is just the best place to ride. How cool that you got to escort such a big group. Fingers crossed we see them again. Haha
Super, Bert. We lived over the other side of Mount Black from Tullah, in Rosebery, for 3 yrs in the late 90's. Did ya see any Thylacines at Tullah? When we live in Rosebery there was a reported sighting of one. Mind you, the guy that reported it had just staggered out of Tullah Tavern at closing. 🤔 Ride well. Cheers
The turn off to Warratah is called fingerpost...well it use to be 40 odd years ago , way way back there was a story about a bloke wood chopping that got pinned down by a tree and when the locals were out looking for him they could hear him screaming...by the time they got to him his head was chewed half up by a devil that took advantage of his predicament. Man I can't get over how low and slow the Hellyer River looked, once upon a time if ya fell in you'd have been washed away somewhat it use to roar through there.
Thanks Glenn, I had not heard that story. Yeh the river was low it’s been a very dry summer on the west coast this year. Hope you’re doing well 😎👍 Thanks for watching

Thanks Roger I look forward to taking you guys to this magnificent area one day 🤞🏻
Not many ride groups would include a round of gold prospecting ... great thought. 👍

There is a lot of history over on the West Coast to explore. I'm looking forward to taking the Byroads over there.

TT is the man, not sure he goes anywhere without a pan and a shovel. Trust me I was very uncomfortable with so many relying on me 😖
Looking like a great ride Bert and get together you came straight past our street mate !
No way, we should have called in 🍻 did you have any beer in the fridge 🤣😂

Nah Moz no sightings on this occasion but the beers in the tavern were good 🍻🍻🤣😂
