Despite the lucky miss inside 2 minutes I thought the pi on Brookins to get cal in fg range was a really bad call. Any thoughts? Were there any post game comments about it by coaches and players.
Coach Greg Kelly was never afraid to pull a QB who went cold or threw a couple interceptions. Nate Yarnell should have replaced Holstein when he became rattled.
I feel like this is a game where if Nate Yarnell is playing Pitt easily wins this game. I know that playing Holstein is the decision of the coaching staff to build for the future, but I feel like against real defenses. They can’t afford the lapses. Who ever starts at quarterback on his team is going to put up numbers in this system, but I feel like Yarnell is going to be more consistent still…..hope Eli can learn from this. A lot of missed reads

People remember this is still a Freshman QB. There will be growing pains. But I'll take the upside.

And if Yarnell plays against cincy and west virginia they lose because Holstein wins those where Yarnell wouldn't have
