Can you do one where the transitions don’t happen back to back. I want to do one when I’m getting ready for my wedding. But there is a lot of time in between. Also.. the popular video with the Beyoncé song.. how do you match up lyrics when you sing… help a girl out!
Brittany, absolutely!!! You can film the first clip, save it as a draft, then come back to it later to finish it. When you save it as a draft, it will be in your bio > reels > drafts at the top. Hit on the reel, then tap "edit" in the upper right corner to keep filming!!
So, if i want to change locations, can I record location #1 and close the app, will the clip be saved by the time I open the app again to record location #2? I need to try it, sorry I'm new at this 😰😅
Hey. You could save that part of your reel in drafts and then shoot the rest in the new location. Just go to the share to button at the bottom and then click on save to drafts. :)

On the next screen there is an option to save the clip to your drafts section of reels. You can later go to drafts in reels and then continue editing the video to add other clips when you are at your destination. Hope that helps :)

GREAT question, I have been asked this multiple times so I think I will make a video on it soon - but essentially you would either follow this process and save it as a draft in between (then navigate back to your draft). You can also film the clips outside Instagram in your Camera app, then piece them together at the end.

Hi! Aw you’re so sweet thank you! Editing the video after you film it (when filming it with audio) won’t mess up the audio. It stays the same even as you edit/film video clips! Is that what you mean?
