As another commenter mentioned, if u are doing long term, cspx has a lower expense ratio. ibkr can buy cspx. Downside is it wont have fractional shares
Withholding tax on dividends from US listed ETFs is 30%. If you’re interested in VOO, can consider CSPX from LSE instead. Only 15% dividend withholding tax and you escape the estate tax as well.

Hi Demi, I am totally new to this. Can a person owe money (be in debt) if his investment did badly, and his investment value went from positive to negative due to the loss?
Hi if you do margin trading, yes. If you’re just buying with the cash you put into the account, value might drop but it wont means that you owe more money.
@@DemiZhuang What is the diff between sfye trade and sfye wealth? Which one should i be using if i don't want margin trading? Thank you so much! I have been binge watching your videos and I read your blog!
If you want to trade stocks, use syfe trade, if you want a portfolio managed for you, use syfe wealth. There isn't margin trading for syfe!@@evelynw3268
Hi, can I check if you're going into CSPX? or continuing with VOO. IBKR doesn't have free trades unlike Syfe so I'm guessing it isn't that beneficial for you? Considering that you DCA weekly. 30% tax on dividends instead of 15%... but the dividends are really low? So it doesn't really affect that much as compared to trading fees? Let me know if you agree with this... I'm looking at which platform and S&P ETF to invest in
Hello! I didn’t go with IBKR CSPX because they don’t allow fractional trade. I don’t DCA weekly, once or twice a month hence syfe trade was good for me. And yes the dividends isnt huge. I’m doing both on Moomoo and on Syfe Trade. Moomoo because of their promotions they throw out as you use their platform + the first user sign up promo is pretttyy goood. Syfe Trade because 2 free trades per month. After I use finish this if I want to go more, I do it on Moomoo, cheaper than Syfe. And platform diversification. 🙂
The question is when will it drop 20-30%? When will it go back up? By dollar cost average into S&P 500 you don't have to try and time the market. All you do is buy shares same time every week/month. No body knows when markets will fall or rise? If you purchased the S&P 9 months ago when you wrote this comment your shairs would be up about 10% now? That just proves my point perfectly.
Hi, my monthly income rn is like around 1400usd, and i am currently 21. Is there any advice for me? ahahaha. I am trying to step in the investment life.

Good to see ur video using VOO as example. U will do very well in long term. 👍

Can watch this - ua-cam.com/video/otp0DX0dIBw/v-deo.html Comparing between Syfe Trade &Moomoo
@@DemiZhuang ahhh... your video mentioned you DCA into S&P500 every week? Every Monday iirc
@@DemiZhuang yep watched the Syfe and Moomoo comparison. Solid content from your channel. I watched a few videos in a row
Haha it really depends. 😂 maybe I should cover in a video about this. Why VOO and not CSPX? 😬
From what I know, VOO doesnt automatically compound the dividends is it? Is there any way to automate it (assuming using Syfe platform as well)?
Yes it doesn’t automatically get reinvested! As of now, not that I know of.
Hi Demi. Will you be looking at investing CSPX via Interactive Brokers? If you do, that will be most helpful 🙏
I'll look into it!!
Thanks Demi. May I know why VOO is chosen as compared to IVV?
Slightly lower expense ratio for VOO
@@DemiZhuang Both VOO & IVV expense ratio are the same at 0.03%?
i can’t sign with syfe, if in the US?
I don't think it's available in the US, moomoo is available in the US!

your videos are good and i am not throwing shade here, but the market has still another 20-30% more to drop- so bear that in mind for any beginners!
Thank you! Yes! Will keep that in mind! ☺️
