"Misalignment burnout strikes when the things that we are doing in the here and now are not aligned to the future that we actually want for ourselves."
    This resonated incredibly deeply.

Honestly, this is the very first podcast I have ever watched and not only enjoyed, but truly gained from. Can't wait for the continuation.

1/3 through this and wow. Nick, seeing you in a "normal" conversation is a whole new perspective to your personality. This is a great arena for you. I'm looking forward to more of these interviews. There's an obvious tangential connection with what Tim Ferris does but the How I Think lens is fantastic.

Thank you Nick for hosting Ali. It has been incredible to listen to the conversation develop and what sparked with me most were the prompts that Ali spoke about. A great prompt, or question, can help you reflect and clarify things/direction in your life!
What would this look like if it were fun? How would this look like, being an adventure?
I took up the challenge offered by Ali, I went back to my daily note template and made it more fun and adventurous.
    # 🏔 What adventure are you going on today?
    # ✨ What is the beauty you saw on your adventure today?
    # 🙌 What on your adventure today, are you grateful for?
    # 🧙‍♂What are you learning on today's adventure?
    # 🎒 What will you take with you, pack for tomorrow's adventure?
    ---
    # ✍ Free writing
    ---
I will be coming back to digest it further, over time!

Definitely worth following this podcast. Biggest takeaways: "What would this look like if it were fun?" and Nick feeling it's time to get around to reading Eckhart Tolle. As AA said (or words to this effect) When it boils down to it, all we have is now". I concur, and applaud the pursuit of joy now that animates this podcast!

It's fun to watch Ali's videos and podcasts "spoil" all the cool parts of the book before it comes out on December 23. :D

I noticed that listening to audiobooks is proportional to the amount of chores and walking I do for the week lol.

It's not heart surgery but we should take a break anyway. Or, let's take a break like it's heart surgery.
