Good idea with the Vicks! We have the same goal with reselling more this year, I'm keeping a log too of everything sold to keep track of the extra income. I've found it to be useful to sell the items a little cheaper then what you could do, helps cycle it through quicker if there's not a lot of storage space.

It’s great to resale things! We linked up with a local consigner and made enough to buy a boat and going to do an addition with the money we’ve gotten from them. Also we try to sell the bigger items ourselves. With that and scrap we’ve been paying our helpers.

And this is why I now am planning to offer estate sale services as well as junk removal 😊😊😊
On the hutch and fold down table , if it’s solid wood everywhere ( No fibre board ) and if it has dove tailing in the drawers , plus flat head screws ( not Philips ) , and the drawers are rough inside not smooth , you could get at least $1000.00 conservatively . If it has all these things I mentioned it’s an antique ( over 100 years old ) . Otherwise it’s vintage and I’d say around 400.00. Leave some room for negotiation .

I'm curious about this because I just don't have the space to store stuff I find on jobs. I'll be following along to see how much you guys make off selling things to see if it justifies me maybe getting a storage unit to store the items until they sell

Where do you guys store the good stuff? I have a 800sq/ft shop but it’s not enough space! I’ve been thinking about getting a warehouse/retail spot. Last week I threw away a bunch of good furniture because I didn’t have the time or space. It’s frustrating!

Our garage and we do try to sell things for a lower price to keep things moving quickly. We have a three car garage with only one car parked in there right now for extra space.

I think we answered this on our live. I would search online foreclosures to find the people in charge of that and go from there. Hope that helps

Why did you guys go with incorporating versus forming a LLC? Thanks, Brian

Our CPA told us we were a better fit for an SCorp that is why we chose that

@@SonomaStrong Matt and JoJo, I really like you guys and what you're doing, but you should control your company and whether you should be a Corp or LLC, not your CPA, just my thoughts as I'd never let someone else dictate my business operations. There are good and bad points to setting up either, but I'm sure you've researched both. Thanks
