you guys are so lucky to have this available to purchase ! aiwa here don't have this very cool looking portable cd player ! take care, MetalFan ! And thanks for the video !
I'm still have and using portable cd player or simply called it, discman. I use it with making connection to my boombox/minii compo that have a line-in. And I still need 1 more, for a backup.
Hey, thank you for commenting! I am in your boat, I always called discman but seems that now people knows the device more as portable cd player. Anyway, glad you’re still using and enjoying it! 🤘🏻
Hey! Yes, you can typically use a 3.5mm auxiliary (aux) cable, AKA jack cable. Both the discman and most speakers have a 3.5mm headphone or aux input/output port, so the cable has 3.5mm male connectors on both ends. I hope it will work for you!
Hey! Thank you for watching and commenting! I wouldn’t say is much better, to be honest, specially depending on the iPhone model. The sound in the portable CD is less compressed than in a phone definitely but I have an iPhone 15 and the sound overall I would say is better. And definitely much better in a iPod!
@@Metal_Fran hi again 👋 so you say that on iPod quality is a better then on iPhone 14pro? If yes, which one you can recommend and which headphones to buy with iPod? Today I ordered Awio player after your video and will test it very soon! You know, i listening music almost all the time on my iPhone with wired EarPods and I like it, but i feel that something else i have to hear, I'm looking for some perfect quality of sound, mine is good but not enough. So if you can recommend something (which is not costing millions) I would be very grateful to you man 🤝
Hey! You can find several portable CD players in between that price range in Amazon but I would recommend to you the one I took from Aiwa. It's a bit more expensive but its working great since the first day and looks stronger and better build than other similar options. eu-aiwa.com/es/product/pcd-810rd
Thank you for this clip. I never know that Aiwa has also released this portable player.
I will try to get one. 😊😊
It was a great surprise for me too at that time! Thank you for watching the video! 😊

Hello, is it possible to connect this discman to a speaker somehow? Or is the only way to listen to the music with headphones?

@@Metal_Fran thank you very much, I was thinking that too but wasn't sure about it. You helped a lot!
@@tomas-skala No problem at all, happy to help! :D

I have an aiwa xp r234 model and I have it in the original packaging including the accessory bags and today I use it and it works perfectly
How loud is it?
7 out of 10 I would say. Not bad but not comparable to an iPod volume power, for example.
