I have seen this glitch work on ps5 as recently as last week from some buddies of mine. I don't know what particular issue you are having, but I am assuming that you can get to the point where your race details and change car pop-ups stay on your screen when you travel to your garage. If this is the case, make sure you are retrieving a car eligible for the race from your garage before trying to press R1 after exiting the garage. Do not attempt to change vehicles by holding R1 at any point. If you are still having issues despite these suggestions, try driving to the race start location before pressing R1 to launch the race after performing the glitch to keep the pop-ups on the screen and retrieving a race vehicle from your garage. @@thesinnerspod still isn’t working, i manage to keep the start screen alert on my screen i fast travel to garage, swap to race car which is lvl 366 exit garage, drove away from it then pressed r1 and still nothing happened- i drove to the race and it puts me in however the menu for it disappears when race starts:/
I know two races from Chapter 2, "Danza Macabra" and "Mountain Run" which can be used for this glitch. "Danza Macabra" is more reliable, but I would recommend getting a drag Nissan 350z even with dealer base stats first. I believe this can be done by fully completing at least one quest line in chapter 3 (ie drift "shift-lock", runner , drag "riot club" etc) each of which have 5 missions to complete their respective questlines. Either way, I will probably put up a detailed video sometime this weekend on the glitch setup for these races 👍.
