Much like Slow Dancing in the Dark sung by Carl Wheezer, I’ve never heard the original version of this song, but this is such perfection that I don’t think I’ll ever need to as it would be nothing but a disappointment in comparison
Ironically enough, this is the first version I've heard in which understood the lyrics, and now it's clear to me why this song is so timelessly popular.
