It was in smite 2, I played against a mordred solo lane and I thought he was named justplatbro. I chuckled because I was lower than gold at the time, and thought of plat in your name as the platinum ranked tier. I was playing chaac, you were on the mordred. There was some good back and forth, and you hit me with a few mordred ults that took me by surprise just how much damage you did
This Smite 2 Alpha is definitely showing just how bonkers we can build already, and while Crit Ymir is fun, if you play back far enough there's not as much he can do compared to a god like Susano. Sure getting 2 tapped by Captain Clobber over here doesn't feel fantastic but Susano can slam all his buttons on you and unless he misses a bunch there's not a lot you can do about it. The game is in a state that needs a *lot* of rebalancing, which is to be expected, it's in Alpha for a reason. I do agree though, the game in its current state is broken in many ways, the scaling for some gods is just ridiculous (such as Bacchus, he can deal more than respectable damage despite building full tank since most of his abilities scale off protections) and it's such a different game from Smite 1 that it can just feel unfair how fast you die in a lot of cases. I'm just hoping things will shake out as development proceeds, and the outliers of damage dealing get pulled in closer to the rest of the pack. If they nerd Crit Ymir though I'm gonna cause Problems, seeing those 1K+ swings is free dopamine for me and I can rule an Arena match on a good day (this part is for Jokes, if he does need a nerf to his Crit build then so be it, I don't want the game to be less fun for other people just because I enjoy building Crit)
The issue is scaling/balancing; which likely won't be tuned for quite some time from the looks of things. Maybe we will get lucky and see a base damage nerf on many gods and/or a base hp/protections increase on others. It's just a super bursty, 1-2 shot meta right now. The way the items work with any god able to build anything is fine, it's not the issue. They just need to adjust the TTK (time to kill) on many of the current gods so there's more skill involved; right now winning a game is more about coordination/god picks than skill by a country mile.
Yeah 100% agree, going from Smite the day before to Smite 2 just made it seem so shocking because of how tanky you can make supports and solos. I really like the fact any god can be built so differently but the 1-2 shot meta is just so different, it can be fun thought tbf thanks for sharing your thoughts :D
its not really super burst just too many gods aren't balanced well. everyone is actually really tanky. what's happening is the ridiculous timers on camps and exp. respawning. makes it so snowball metta is super bad. and how wide open the map is its super easy to invade and make enemy team/jungler be useless all game. if you get even 1-2 levels behind you literally cant kill anyone unless your really really good. its way too easy to control all the farm on the map right now. the map needs a redesign. not necessarily the grass but its like an open field right now. especially with how huge the map is. so far ive seen easiest way to win is if your jungler sits near mid lane getting mid camps on spawn and just invading red and yellow camps to snowball and win. i had it keep happening to me till i started doing it as well and could finally play the game again. its become jungler ignore all lanes to baby sit mid game. im not even joking all the farm is concentrated in mid. theres like legit zero reason to gank solo lane. and maybe occasionally fight over the duo lane camp.
@@timothyfloyd3269 At level 1-5 most gods have a time to kill of less than 3 seconds. It's absolutely a burst meta right now and has nothing to do with snowballing. It's a scaling issue and hp numbers are too low.

@JustPlatBro a few things works. Duo jungle is a go to, but with those portals duo lane being in mid and the mage going to the side may be worth a good shot as well. The whole idea of the roles are hold overs from the early seasons of the smite 1 beta. Enough has carnage since then that Many other things are not only viable but will out perform by subverting the enemy's team knowledge on how to win. A practiced team with a off meta set up will win against people who are a decently higher rank. There is a few hurdles in learning those weird lane layouts but even if you have 10 games practice vs a team that has 0 games trying to fight against it. Easy wins.
Hmmmmm play Smite 2 the already dead game with small talent pool of 5,000 concurrent players, or... Play Deadlock that has 170,000 players and feels better in every way... And it's made by Valve. Tough decision.

They need at least an extra 25% but maybe up to 40-50%
I’ve been 3 shotting everyone with Ymir full build
Don't be a meta slave. Break free.
but how
@JustPlatBro a few things works. Easy wins.
Sounds like a skill issue...
10,000%
Hmmmmm play Smite 2 the already dead game with small talent pool of 5,000 concurrent players, or... Play Deadlock that has 170,000 players and feels better in every way... And it's made by Valve. Tough decision.
i didn't think you could play deadlock? on steam it says for playtesters only
@@JustPlatBro if any of your Steam friends are playing it they can send you an invite.
Smite 2 sucks, i refunded it
Bold move, I’m holding on too hope ha
Doesn't matter if u roll tank in this crap game 😂
Its even pointless being support.
And the store menu in-game is ridiculous bad... I amazed for game that been so long time out and this is what they deliver in a alpha build and already implant ranked when game is so unbalanced hahaha...
hahaha I feel you. It seems that despite most people who are currently playing Smite 2 are from Smite1, the skill is so just so wild. You have some people who are amazing and others who look like they have never touched a MOBA before which just ruins playing support if you have a terrible carry
yeah I was shocked at this being it's current state
@tkraft1442 the store does feel so bad. I play controller on pc, and I use mouse and keyboard for the store. I just search items up by name.
Switching from 60 fps smite footage to 24 fps of your face camera is extremely jarring...
Hahaha yeah but my face is so pretty in 4k at 24fps
