They’re also a huge inspiration as a craftsman and a person who really values reducing waste and making use of what you have access to. So thank you and I’ll be patiently and eagerly awaiting your recovery. Blessings to you and your family.

Especialy because you always use scrap or palletwood. I hope that you keep amazing us with your skills. Get well. We all love your work Jason.
Hello Jason! I've missed you and hoped you were on holiday. I'm so sorry to see you were injured. God bless and God speed on a swift recovery. It was great to see and hear you and your awesome workshop! You are by far my favorite craftsman on UA-cam. I love that you work with your hands and use them awesome antique hand tools. GOD BLESS, YOUR TOP FAN , Micki
You are amazing to watch Jason. Thank you. Your video design is excellent too - no distracting music - just quiet concentration. Looking forward to the next one.

Glad you're OK Jason. Wish you a speedy recovery. BTW i know its part of the deal with no speaking and just the smile and wave at the end, but the occasional Voiceover would be fantastic. looking forward to seeing you get back into next year!!!!

So sorry to see you had an accident. I wish you a strong recovery, like your little hammer built back better. But, this video was great! It’s like an origin story. I’m in the states and I thought you were over here too. It’s funny to see your shop I thought it was soooo much bigger. Very impressive the projects you pump out of that shop.
Hi Jason, I feel for you, I had a nasty one recently with a hand held trim router, thank god for great neighbours. They rushed me into A & E and everything is back to normal now (no lost digits just chunks of skin), you look after yourself and don't worry about content, we can always look back at some of your past videos that we may have missed. Best wishes. 🤕 👍
Hi Jason. Tough break on the injury. Hope you are back to 100% soon. Great to hear your voice. You should do a narrated video about once a year or so, otherwise the format of your videos is perfect. Loved the tour and learned quite a bit about some of the tools and other stuff in your shop.
Hi Jason, I have been watching your channel for a few years and love the videos. This one is special as it really shows the passion you have for your tools and work. Sorry it took an injury for you to record this video and I hope you soon recover. Hopefully we get to hear your voice again in future videos.
OMG Jason, great to have a look around your workshop, both Debs and I wish you a speady recovery as we really enjoy the work you do in it. might be a little early but Merry Christmas to all you family and we'll look forward to seeing you back in 25 Barry&Debs
😮 Yeaaaaa he speaks! Great video as always mate and it’s super to finally here you speak. Get well soon bro as we need those relaxing awesome videos. Shop tour was great, oh and the missus said to tell you that your kitchen is beautiful. Have a great Christmas Jason and see, and hear, you in the new year! 👍🏻
Loved watching this with my daughter. We are both big fans and love everything you make. My favourite piece is the phone box, it is awesome!! Would love to see you make the Tardis as we are big fans. I hope your hand isn't to painful and that you are soon back in your workshop ❤ It was great to hear you talking 😊
What a lovely treat seeing your amazing workspace. I have learnt so much watching you over the years. Candle wax to stop glued up wood sticking to the bench is a great tip. I'm definitely going to try that!
Sorry about your hand Jason, can empathise. I lost an argument with a table saw a few years ago during covid and almost had the hospital to myself. The doctor was in hysterics when i told him i was making a first aid box ! Nice to hear your voice after all these years and really enjoyed the workshop tour. I wish you a speedy recovery and a Merry Christmas.
Not a word for five years, and now we can't shut him up. Kidding! Thank you so much for the tour. Really enjoyed it. Hope your injury heals up good as new and soon. Will look forward to watching the compilation video.
Nice trip down shop project memory lane Jason! Glad the injury isn't as bad as it looks! I had a kickback accident with my planer/thicknesser recently and sprained/jammed up my thumb pretty bad. Goes to show you and the viewers, no matter how much experience you have, anyone can get hurt in or outside the shop. Be well and heal up fast!
I am so sorry you had that accident. I absolutely love your channel and I love the work you do. It feels odd to hear your voice and to have narration for your video. Now I know which accent to give you. I hope you have a seamless recovery. Thank you for the great content.
Your voice brought back memories of holidaying in a dairy farm orchard in Acaster Malbis many years ago. It was a huge caravan park last time I visited the UK. I love your videos, so creative. Hope your hand reaches its full strength quickly. All the best from Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you for a great tour of your workshop. So sorry about the circumstances that led up to it. I hope you'll heal quickly and regain full use of your hand. Also, thank you for the many inspirational videos you've made of your artistry. Watching your process is a delight. 🙏🏻
I almost swallowed my heart when I saw your technically advanced bandaging! I am pretty sure that you are downplaying the injury not to make us give up hope :) I understand your situation, but please give it all the time it needs to heal completely, and then start softly. Easier said than done of course, but you are a smart guy, and I'm sure that you'll find a way to make interesting videos without overworking your damaged hand. You probably made that unusual kitchen table yourself. It would be nice to see other things you have made inside or outside your house, and hear what material and tools you used to make them, and also how many hours you needed to finish the job. Don't worry- we'll be here waiting for you 😊
Hi, I'm very sorry about the accident that affected your hand and I sincerely hope that you recover quickly and fully. Your videos? They're great and I've seen them all. I hope you're doing well.
I sincerely hope your injury isn't serious jason, I managed to have an accident with my table saw a couple of years ago and chopped the tops off two of my fingers, but since then, I took better precautions. Wonderful tour of your workshop and tools. Thoroughly enjoy your videos and I learn a lot from them. See you back on UA-cam soon my friend.
I would say ,Adam Savage and you should collaborate on your work shops. Love them both. I wish I could get my wife quilting material out of my workshop.
😲 Hello Jason! When I saw the large bandage on your hand and arm I was immediately shocked! Your words that it looks worse than it is are all the more reassuring! Something can happen so quickly! You think you are being careful and have taken all safety measures and then it happens... Jason, I wish you a full recovery! Best wishes from Germany! Wolfgang 🙋♂
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I've truly enjoyed watching your channel and the projects you create. I am continously amazed at the pheonominal artwork you create from what might be someone else's trash. Looking forward to seeing new things come from your channel. Have a healthy and happy new year.
Man, I'm halfway through (had to pause for work), and damn, it would be awesome to sit down and have a cup of tea with you and just chat about the shop and your projects. This video is the closest I can get to that, so I'm gonna watch it through, then when I get home, I'm gonna put on some tea and watch it again.
Dear teacher, what a fright you gave me. When I saw that you raised your hand, my heart almost stopped. I imagine that it could have been because of my profession, since in my work history, I have had many patients who have suffered carpentry work and microsurgery is the greatest ally. I hope with all my heart that it was not too long, but if you are talking about weeks, I imagine many things. The fact is that you are not afraid of machines, but you do respect them. I have been following you from the beginning for years, and I have always been a fan of yours because of the beautiful apothecary cabinets you make. I wish you a speedy recovery, teacher.
Thank you for the tour of your space, the insight of how you came to categorize and put everything together. I wish you a quick and easy mend, so you can be back to work soon. Thank you for putting your channel out to all of us, it's BRILLIANT altogether, a real highlight for me! Your attention to detail and meticulousness in everything you do, shines through, always!!........
Hey there Jason, as much as I enjoyed the tour, I hate the idea of seeing you like that. I really hope to see you back in action soon and you will suffer no consequences. The video is full of love and admiration on what you do, but also family, father, wife, brother, son, grand son. Man, you are full of humility. I am happy to be subscribed, the world needs people like you I finally know the trick about the non stick table! stay safe and heal soon
Hi Jason, I'm shocked that you hurt yourself but luckily it's not that bad as you say. Very nice to get a tour of your workshop although I have seen it many times, your explanation is surprising and I think you understand that. I wish you and your family happy days and hope to see you back to work soon with 2 healthy hands, talking or not haha
Oh Jason, so sorry to see you're injured, glad that it's less severe than all the bandaging suggests. Here's to a swift and easy recovery; take it easy, take the meds and take the proper time to fully heal rather than do too much too soon. Thank you for the tour, lovely to see the projects being used that I've so enjoyed watching you create and I've also enjoyed being introduced to some of the more obscure of your tools as well as recognising some of the older ones that my dad had in his workshop collection too. Great to finally hear your voice, I spent 7 happy years living around beautiful York, where both of my kids were born. I'd like to wish you and yours a very happy, healthy and peaceful Christmas and I'm looking forward to seeing more amazing projects taking shape next year. 🎄🎅
Oh boy that injury looks pretty bad. I hope you’re on the mend and not suffering too much pain. Enjoyed this look around. As it’s said across the pond, I too am somewhat of a shop hoarder but not a professional as yourself. 😹 I love the “bits & bobs” I’ve collected over the years. Never throw anything away because sooner or later I find a use for them. Heal up soon, I look forward to your next sawdust party! Cheers
You are an amazing craftsman. Your work is incredible. Hope you have a speedy recovery. I’ve been doing this same kinda hobbies for about 45 years now. Plus I was a rail car inspector/repairman for about 25 years. I’ve had a few close calls. Always remain aware of what could happen. I still have all my fingers and toes. Stay safe. Thanks for all the videos!
I wish you a speedy recovery. Your project videos are the best on UA-cam, quality work delivered in a not too flashy way. It gives me hope that one day I could produce work like yours (except that I don't think I have your levels of patience!)
Really sorry to hear about your accident Jason,my heart goes out to you and your family, the stress of seeing you injured must have been terrible for you,so i hope you recover quickly with no long term effects, and may you and your family have a wonderful Christmas and a very prosperous accident free new year, all the best.
Its good to know the Injury it will not stop from coming back in the future, I hope your hand it will heal fast, you are a big inspiration I believe in the woodworking industry, very uniq style, I enjoy and learn at the same time from every single details in the process of building something, Take care and thanks for sharing with us
Thank you so much for that lovely tour Jason. Really hope you recover quickly - plenty of Yorkshire tea while you're editing your videos will help. I'm in the middle of a project inspired totally by your 'Narnia Wardrobe' video. I would never have attempted it had I not watched all your videos first but I am thrilled with the results so far. Your videos are not just entertaining and inspirational but highly educational. Bless you and your imagination and a Yorkshire lad to boot! Get well soon matey.
Dude.. I always thought you were a homeboy. Saw you living in like rural Ohio or Minnesota, or the like. Love the accent - sound like Sean Bean in LotR. My brother, my captain, my king. In any event, hope you heal up quick. Gotta have my Upscale fix.
Sorry yer injured Jason. Prayers for a speedy & full recovery. Thank you for showing us around yer man cave/shop. Love all yer projects & video productions. Merry Christmas to you & yours.
Man, so many amazing projects in that space. I might have to go back and watch them all again. Your videos are always a huge inspiration. Thank you! I hope your healing journey is quick!
Que estés bien, mucha paciencia y un abrazo con afecto. Me encantan tus detalles y la dedicación que pones en cada cosa que haces! Que Dios te bendiga!
I've become a huge fan of your channel and love watching your mastery and craftsmanship. In my eyes you are a woodworking genius. I hope your hand is fully healed up soon.
Thanks for the tour Jason. Good to see what all those drawers are for. You really have your own hardware store going. Good tidings and heal quickly, we want to see more build videos. - Chris
Hi Jason. Hope your front paw gets better soon. Have to admit, I didn't even realise you were English. Good to hear your voice though. Looking forward to more projects.
Jason you actually knocked me for six , after watching this video 🙌 first of all I wish you the speediest recovery ( I know you didn't want to delve ) and secondly when I heard your Yorkshire accent I thought bugger me there's my pallet contender 🤣🤣 I'm 9nly down the road , you sir are a credit too the process of wood and it's wonders 💪🇬🇧☕️👌 stay safe Jason and thankyou for the tour 🍻👍
Hi Jason, Sorry to hear of your mishap. I thoroughly enjoy watching your creation videos but is also nice to see a video like this where your audience gets to see a bit about you and what influences your work. Drawers it seems 😁 We wish you a speedy recovery. Regards
When my lady said you'd posted a talking video i was paranoid my favorite channel was ending and had to watch it straight away... We really enjoyed this long anticipated moment, despite the circumstances, and hope your hand heals really well because I'm now super intrigued by what you'll do with your rasp collection... Simply fantastic
I have not written any comment on your channel before today, but I watch all your videos and I am happy when the video is long... Your channel is soothing to the nerves and spreads positivity. I wish you a speedy recovery and that you take good care of your hands, as they are your capital. My regards.
Get better my friend! As always it's a joy and inspiration to watch your videos. Glad it's not as bad as it looks cause that cast thing definitely made it look bad. Lol
Oh no, I‘m sorry to hear you hurt your hand. But you still seem to be in good spirit, that is all that counts. We will happily wait for your hand to heal, don‘t worry. Take care, enjoy the holidays and most of all: a speedy recovery to your injuries. May you and your family have a wonderful holiday season and come back healthy in the new year!

Me too.. For some reason I thought he was from Canada
I knew about where he was from. I'm an old fan of Paul Sellers! The tools gave away the general location! Excellent videos!
Plug sockets are a bit of a giveaway. That and the newspaper he uses most of the time.
You can tell he's British from the plug sockets and the number plates on the wall.

Goes to show you and the viewers, no matter how much experience you have, anyone can get hurt in or outside the shop. Be well and heal up fast!
Thank you 🙏
I am so sorry you had that accident. I absolutely love your channel and I love the work you do. It feels odd to hear your voice and to have narration for your video. Now I know which accent to give you. I hope you have a seamless recovery. Thank you for the great content.
Thank you 🙏
Auuugh! Not what I was expecting, so sorry dude! Please take it easy, heal well, and feel better ASAP. *positive vibes sent*
Thank you 🙏
Your voice brought back memories of holidaying in a dairy farm orchard in Acaster Malbis many years ago. It was a huge caravan park last time I visited the UK. I love your videos, so creative.
Hope your hand reaches its full strength quickly.
All the best from Australia 🇦🇺
Thank you 🙏
Thank you for a great tour of your workshop. So sorry about the circumstances that led up to it. I hope you'll heal quickly and regain full use of your hand. Also, thank you for the many inspirational videos you've made of your artistry. Watching your process is a delight. 🙏🏻
Thank you 🙏
I almost swallowed my heart when I saw your technically advanced bandaging!
Don't worry- we'll be here waiting for you 😊
Thank you 🙏
Hi, I'm very sorry about the accident that affected your hand and I sincerely hope that you recover quickly and fully. Your videos? They're great and I've seen them all. I hope you're doing well.
Thank you🙏
I sincerely hope your injury isn't serious jason, I managed to have an accident with my table saw a couple of years ago and chopped the tops off two of my fingers, but since then, I took better precautions.
Wonderful tour of your workshop and tools. Thoroughly enjoy your videos and I learn a lot from them. See you back on UA-cam soon my friend.
Thanks Ian. I should be back soon :)
I would say ,Adam Savage and you should collaborate on your work shops. Love them both. I wish I could get my wife quilting material out of my workshop.
MY 2 most watched YT channels.....Absolutely Love the Infrastructure Videos
I love Adam's workshop :)
Wolfgang 🙋♂
Thanks Wolfgang🙏
Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I've truly enjoyed watching your channel and the projects you create. I am continously amazed at the pheonominal artwork you create from what might be someone else's trash. Looking forward to seeing new things come from your channel. Have a healthy and happy new year.
Thank you 🙏
Man, I'm halfway through (had to pause for work), and damn, it would be awesome to sit down and have a cup of tea with you and just chat about the shop and your projects.
Thank you 🙏
Really enjoyed that Jason
Drink tea, get better! Looking forward to your recuperation so we can see what your creative juices come up with next
Thanks Wayne 👍
Thank you for the tour of your space, the insight of how you came to categorize and put everything together. I wish you a quick and easy mend, so you can be back to work soon. Thank you for putting your channel out to all of us, it's BRILLIANT altogether, a real highlight for me! Your attention to detail and meticulousness in everything you do, shines through, always!!........
I hope your injury heals fast. Thank you for the behind the scenes video.
I am happy to be subscribed, the world needs people like you
I finally know the trick about the non stick table!
stay safe and heal soon
Thank you 🙏
Hi Jason, I'm shocked that you hurt yourself but luckily it's not that bad as you say.
Very nice to get a tour of your workshop although I have seen it many times, your explanation is surprising and I think you understand that. I wish you and your family happy days and hope to see you back to work soon with 2 healthy hands, talking or not haha
Thanks Sonja🙏
🎄🎅
Thank you 🙏
Merry Christmas 🎄
Thank you 🙏
Beautiful shop! Love your channel! Educational and inspiring! Cheers!
С наступающим рождеством!!! выздоравливайте быстрее жду новых выпусков!
Merry Christmas :)

Thanks very much, Vince. Wonderful to hear the wardrobe has inspired your own project. I hope it comes out exactly how you want it.
Dude.. I always thought you were a homeboy. Saw you living in like rural Ohio or Minnesota, or the like. Love the accent - sound like Sean Bean in LotR. My brother, my captain, my king. In any event, hope you heal up quick. Gotta have my Upscale fix.
Thanks! I wish it could be more, but this time of year is always tight. Best wishes for your speedy recovery, Sir.
That's very kind of you, thanks very much 🙏

We really enjoyed this long anticipated moment, despite the circumstances, and hope your hand heals really well because I'm now super intrigued by what you'll do with your rasp collection...
