Very helpful video. However the question Mounir asked about how to validate a survey was not answered. How can someone validate a survey and where can he find validated questions? Also NBs usually consider surveys as a general PMCF activity and not a specific one. I would expect some clarity/discussion about this in the video.

Hi Christos. I am glad you found the podcast useful. The topic of survey questions is field-specific and quite complex. It would have been impossible to cover it in a podcast episode. However, there are many validated tool in the literature. Usually these tools are identified in the analysis of the state of the art since they are specifically to the condition being studied. As far as I know, surveys performed specifically for the device fall under specific PMCF activity. Generic activities are those where data is collected specifically for the device under consideration, while generic activities might involve the collection of data that is not exclusively for the specific device but could be relevant to it. For example the analysis of the literature data is a generic activity.
