Wow! Sammy Hagar called. He wants to do an I can’t drive 55 showcase.
Abby did great. Absolutely wonderful.
RC models are fun and cool, no doubts, but i'm watching your videos because of you two guys, i love how you both enjoy sharing the RC world with each other. Just wonderful to watch, puts a smile on my face, i'm somehow happy for you. (hope this doesn't sound to weird, can't explain better). Greetings from Germany

Cavitation is the word you're looking for :)
Abby has such an infectious laugh!! She's great.
😁👍
Great to see Abby on the other side of the camera I recently got my little nephew and niece into flying. Becky didn't want to at first cuz she thought was something just "boys" do until I showed her a few videos of Abby flying and after that she was all in💜👍
The term is "cavitation".
Cavitation - formation of vapour bubbles within a liquid at low-pressure regions that occur in places where the liquid has been accelerated to high velocities, as in the operation of centrifugal pumps, water turbines, and marine propellers.
Cavitation is the word you're looking for. Great job you two!
WOW!! AWESOME boat!! AWESOME rescues!! AWESOME ABBY in her non-RC kayak!! I want to see more!! GREAT SHOW SAYLORS and thanks for the HONESTLY AWESOME entertainment!! 💟👍😘
Cavitating is the word you were looking for. That thing boogies!
Rc Saylors are the Best! Thanks for All You Do for RC and Your Great Positive Attitudes! 😇🤗
13:02 "Alright, I'm useful now." Abby to the rescue! Great fun! Thanks to you both. Cheers!
Hi guys. Catamarans are a lot more involving / tricky to drive than mono hulls, but one thing about driving them is cornering tequniques. I know it feels quite unnatural to corner at speed with a catermeran but it's what you need to do generally, otherwise the hulls have a tendency to dig in causing the rolling. Fun video, great to see Abby having fun!!
We definitely noticed that on one of our first turns! It’s really fun learning how to operate a new style of vehicle. Thanks for these really great tips! 👍😁😎⚓️
I'd love to see this boat again but on a clear day with no wind. And for the price it's brilliant 👊🙏

That thing rips!
Oh, it’s insanely powerful! 👍😁😎⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors Nate, Abby, is this a legit message about a giveaway?
Kinda early squad where you guys at loving boat week always awesome 😎 😎😎😎⚓️⚓️⚓️⚓️
It was me, Eric, cavitation of the prop. Or in the Nate language, cavity-ation. This thing is radical, very fast. Me likey
I like how the little boat comes to tow in the other one , cool in a nerdy rc kind of way. Love it
She is great in this video!!!He should have her introduce all rc items
She knows how much he loves rc so their videos are equally distributed which is great too
Cavitating gets called cavitating
What The? Wow thats fast. Boats like these need a self right especially if they flip as easy as this one
Exactly what I was going to write lol👍🏽and for this kind of money it should definitely have self righting I don't think jet jam would be able to bring this boat back if your in the middle of a choppy lake and it's getting pulled by heavy a current lol
It’s not possible for a this cat to have self righting. Hate to say it but that’s just for the fun “basher” type boats.
AWESOME Guys 🔥👍✌️
That cat has so much adjustability for different water conditions🕵️♀️Loads of fun and smiles❤️👍

Awesome video guys! 👍❤️
If you get an fpv drone camera, and put it on a tugboat, then you can go pretty far out into the water to retrieve your fast boats
CAVITATION! You guys read my comment!! Lol

Abby you did wonderful and you handle the kayak wonderful too I live on Long Island New York so I live in a boating community tons of kayaks and a lot of people don't know how to steer them or paddle them
I'm not trying to be a bad person.... but it's called a catamaran
oh. I apologize I see her using a kayak sorry....
fantastic boat,wow its fast 👌💪💪👍😀
Abby and Nate y'all rock! Love the channel and content! I'm here for the algorithm! Peace
This is absolutely insane! What a boat!👊🏼😊🤘🏻
Awesome guys! That thing is so fast it's amazing! Great video as always my friend's! 💯🤜🤛🔥🔥⚡⚡
Cavitation is the word. 😎👍
great video guys
Cavitation :)
wow super boat cool
You’re right on the learning curve. I just got a 1/8 scale Kyosho usa-1. It’s big and fast, and takes a bit to get used to compared to a 1/10 basher or my vintage stuff . That boat is awesome
Nice
Abby was having so much fun lol

I was really considering buying this one but the non self righting is a huge deal breaker for me, looks great tho👍🏽
That’s not a boat, that’s a rocket! 😁⚓️
Looking great Abbey
Awesome guy’s. Great job Abby. God is good
It’s the Prop strut thats adjustable,in those choppy waters I would have lowered the strut a little, also when the boat has been upside down in the water it’s worth pulling the drain plug out to release any water that may have got inside the hull
Very fast boat. Nice job Saylors!

CAVITATION made simple - just think of the prop as a tire burning rubber, its spinning too fast and not moving the machine its attached to. Love the vids guys, you are great!
Cavitation is wht ur looking for
Impressive boat right there!
great video! For me, the best is the Sonicwsake 36 V2! Since I have it, I don't have to worry about it turning over, for me this is the most important thing. I love being able to enjoy navigating at high speed without worrying about anything else,😍
Thank you very much! How exciting!! I am from Spain, what prefix do I have to put to contact you? 😃
1 Month later i got the boat like two days ago and its actually really fun. And thanks for the video. Keep it up🤪
What is your set up? Motor swap 4S or 6S.
Perfect example of why there is dual rate on the steering!
lol .. cavitation 😉.. I just look at it as - it's like when your car peels out - loss of traction.
Thanks guys keep making vids 👍
Ventilation, not cavitation.
@@AB-80X 👍 that is an excellent observation. The difference is ventilation is when the prop pulls in surface gases and causes prop slip. This usually happens at higher mph speeds when the prop becomes too close to the surface or when the boat is nose heavy or prop shaft is too short etc, again prop being too close to the surface. When the boat is going fast in the choppy water it is definitely in ventilation. Cavitation is caused when the prop spins to quickly and vaporizes the water around it (steam) causing a bubble(s) around the prop (bubble and prop completely under water) and resulting prop slip. (no surface gases) usually happening at slower mph speeds.
When the boat is trying to "take off" or "gain traction" NOW at this scale (constant water tension+scale HP+ size and distance of prop from surface) it is still most likely cavitation but can't totally rule out some surface gas pollution.
Lover the Veles! Awesome video!
Thanks George! 👍😁😎⚓️
What a great review , just had to get one . Iron clad rc has a few tips to tune it but out of the box it's a beast. My wife just bought the blackjack 42 , last time we went boating she ran her Sr80 up the river bank at 50 mph, ha,ha, lucky they wernt fishing there. They would fall off their chairs and the other half would jump in the lake . I would fall in laughing at them. No damage to the boat, . Need to rescue boat, I'm too old for this crap swimming in my undies and it's too cold . Dam rc boats, roo much fun .
Love ya guys please keep up the great videos
This is not a scam correct ?
Cavitation is the word your looking for, it creates a void of air around the prop. Jet Jam how cool, this looks like a must for Cat boats lol 👍
That’s the prop cavitating. That’s why ya gotta trim it up a bit
"cavitation" lol
Abbey rescue boat looked fun. What happened to your rescue RC boat. That is one orsum boat, that’s actually fun RC boating when you are in a boat. 👍🏻
im getting that boat in 1 month. And nice videos keep it up😀
I just love the dynamics of you two.
Nate being 'protective' of 'Absolute Flat Out' Abby. Just a smile on my face all the video. Thank you for all the entertainment!!!
Boat does well in those choppy conditions.
Bout to take out the spartan and m41 here in a few

If you don't mind me asking where are you located ? Met you guys at Horizon Fest
The 29"s are cool and I might need one of those Veles too,,but small-ish pond water needed for that. Any chop on a big body and you need a 42" with the extra weight for full thrott boogie!. Recovery Wife,,love it.
This should have been 32” it would have been more stable. Granted I had a Venom king of shades that was dual motor. And I feel it needed the weight.
I put my veles motor and esc in the black jack 24 single 4s 38mm 1.9p cnc prop.Off shore electrics strut and cable kit. 50+mph I have the sonic wake motor in my veles with a seaking 180 esc 40mm 3 bladed 1.9p prop. 60mph sport set up. This is a fun hobby to get into.
This looks like a great boat other than it’s propensity to capsize.
That looks Great fun, have you considered getting an electric outboard for the Canoe ? :D
First like foam Lahore Pakistan.
It sounds Like a turkey goble
I like it so please definitely send out one to my house ❤to test .
What do you do with your vast collection of models?? You must have thousands of them.
I’m not sure which one of you enjoy these boats more😂I have reworked one of these for a friend but I do not have this one. It’s a MG29 and I have a couple of those already💪👍Badass boat

Ouuuuuuuffff!!! 6s on that stock prop?? You guys are very lucky and brave as that stock prop @6s is HIGHLY NOT recommended by the boat's developer. I have actually been in close communication with the developer of this boat, and he stated that the "sweet spot" for this boat is 5s with the stock electronics and stock prop.
This boat is also def NOT a beginners boat as this boat has a lot of "quirks" as you guys will find out the more you drive it. You really have to power though the turns to get this boat prevent it from flipping during turns. Now im not saying to FULL throttle on the turns but you just need to keep it on plane and never let the throttle go neutral. ALso this boat has a lot of torque roll due to the high RPM motor: it actually likes to have an uneven battery weight on each side, 2s on one side and 3s on the other, to counter act the torque roll. This boat requires A LOT of tunning vs the others in the proboat line up.
I would say this is a good 4th boat to have. I've owned this boat since it came out and this was my 3rd boat, I was actually going to return it bc it keeps flipping every time I turn, and I just was not used to its "unique" characteristics. I did not like it at first but once I tuned her up and got used to its quirks, men it was beautiful!
Unlike other boats, when you have to slow down on turns to keep it from flipping and drifting, this boat is the total opposite. It really likes to be on plane and likes to power though turns. Once you get a hang of its characteristics it will turn on a dime AT SPEEDS!! Also, once you let the power off and allow it to get off its plane during the turns it will flip, as you guys have experienced.
This boat was purposely designed this way as to have an advantage during professional boat races when other catamaran boats have to slow down in turn to prevent from flipping. This boat can power though the turn and gain advantage over the others. Just like racing a car, the faster you are on the turns the better, as you gain the lead of the next place. Same idea behind this boat. The developer has designed this boat to be on rails when it turns. It does not drift on turns like other catamarans in its class.
Sry, I know this is a lot to read.. lol. Its just I have a lot of experience on this boat and I just wanted to share my knowledge and my experience with everyone who is planning on buying this boat.
Unless you guys want a big ball of fire going down that lake, I highly suggest not to run this boat again @6s with that stock prop. It even warns you on the instructions not to use 6s on the stock prop. If you want to run 6s you need to prop down. The manual also gives you the exact prop size to purchase on horizon hobby for a 6s set up.
What are either one of you talking about? Every single person I know runs big props on 6s and stock electronics. Just because the book says you can’t doesn’t really mean you can’t
@@jaycevessier7554 They even say in the manual you can run big props, but you have to make some cool down laps after full throttle. The recommended 6s prop is a 1616, (the stock one a 1716) I've bought now a 42mm props, that's a 16,5 and 16 pitch prop. (The middle between the recommended one and the big stock one. And to keep the temps down a dual inlet rudder kit. I guess this will be the ultimate setup with the ose upgradet flex cable. 👍 My goal is to hit about 55 mph with a nice big rooster tail, but I haven't tried the boat yet, I just bought it 4 days ago used but in a almost new shape beside of the prop, flex cable and strut.
@@jaycevessier7554 when I say prop down it does not necessarily mean go smaller. The prop size diamater is only one part of the prop spec. You also have rake and tounge and de tounge, 3 blades 4 blades, 2 blades, sharpened and balanced, pitch, so on and so fourth. But I just wanted to keep it simple so that the newer people dont get confused.
Now it also depends on how he runs the boat. If he is only doing speed runs then he can get away with the stock electronics on 6s with stick prop. BUT if he is doing sport boating then it is highly not advisable.
Sure the stock electronics will work with 6s with the stock prop, as you saw them do on this video. But the more you run it like this the fater the degradation of the electronics due to the high load and higher heat. It will also cause your batteries to puff up and wear out faster and cause it to prematurely degrade. With this prop at 6s with the stock electronics, you justy have no idea how much amps and wattage is running on that system especially the amp spikes. When the prop leaves the water and free revs, as the boat jumps over the waves, the amp spikes through the roof. AND the Stock electronics only have so much head room to compensate for that with the stock 150amps esc. If you really want to use 6s with that stock prop then replace the ESC with a 180 or even 200amp and install a higher capacity battery cap so that it can compensate for the higher amps.
Imagine your driving your car in 1st gear doing 60mph on the freeway on max redline every single day. Sure it will run but how long do you think it it will last?
The point in all this is that when you tune your boat, it means to make it run efficient with as low heat as possible while still getting the same speed and performance out of it.
Like what I said I was in close communication with this BOATS DEVELOPER and I'm sure the developer of this boat knows what he is talking about. Lol
Ive been in RC WORLD since I was 6yrs old and I am 40 now. And I have experience it all. I blew up so many boats from experimenting with so many setups. Same with cars and planes and helis. The thing is you have to realise drivng a boat on water alone is very hard on the electronics. It takes so much effort for the electronics to propel some thing in water VS on air and land. If haven't notice that the batteries for these high performance boats are BIG and expensive? And from a 5000mah pack you can only run a boat for 3-5 mins vs 30mins on helis or a cars? More energy = more heat. More heat = fireball or puff the magic dragon.
Now I'm just giving people advice to prevent people from an expensive repairs and replacements. You guys can do what ever you guys like with your RC. It's your hard earn cash after all. I'm just sharing my years of experience with eveyone to prevent them from making expensive mistakes.
@@edwindeleon no, it’s a bone stock out the box veles 29. Look up ironclad rc, he just put a new video out few hours ago running like 3 different big props on it
Cool! You need to do a video racing a jet ski. Guaranteed to get lots of views.

its called cavitation, the formation of an empty space within a solid object or body.thats is an awesome looking boat, i want one
Nope. When the prop pulls in air and causes an air pocket, that's VENTILATION. Cavitation is something completely different.

Cavitation is when the prop creates air at different speeds
Cavitation is when the pressure on the blades drop thus create bubbles of air. When the prop pulls air in, that's called ventilation.
The first thing I would do with "any" hydroplane is install trim tabs on the stern to keep the bow down and not catch air.
It’s not a hydroplane tho.
@@Sixbillion1 I would've thought that any boat that rides on top of the water would be some kind of a hydroplane, hence the vintage three point hydros of the 50s and 60s. This, to me, fits that category. Even the Deep "V" hulls need some kind of stabilization, just a thought. If not a hydro, what would you call it?
@@NHfiddle it’s called a catamaran. A 3 point hydroplane rides on the front two sponsons and the prop, so a trim tab on a hydro would do nothing at all. On a catamaran it would help, tho it’s not needed with a proper setup. One way to reduce lift on these style hulls is to glue a wiper blade underneath between the sponsons to disrupt airflow under and reduce lift.
@@Sixbillion1 Right, as in the sail boat, should have realized. I got my terminology mixed up, sorry. Thanks for the lesson in boats, been a long while.
@@NHfiddle no worries at all man 🙂
Cav e tation ............ Its basically where the prop puts so much force on the water its splitting the hydrogen from oxygen(edit im sorry steam is produced from the pressure creating bubbles)
Are you guys sponsored by Horizon since we never see any other name brand go-fast boats like TFL on your channel? Just curious. They are very nice boats so would think they would be of interest to you.

I had a Venom King of Shaves 32” which I miss selling honestly. I was thinking of grabbing this. She’s got to be small cause the 32” I ran 6S on the dual set up. And it sheered the composite props off.
With a dual rudder cooling I think 6S is possible.
Bought a BIG STORM 41" 6S SPEED BOAT have you done a review on this ...???
Your boat has to get up on its hydroplane.
Hey Nate you been hacked?
Where do u get a new drain plug? I love this boat it does really well on the rough water long as u don't full throttle....what are the differences in props. Thanks
I'm convinced I need a boat for this summer!!!
I'm trying for the deep V pro-boat with the auto flop system. Since I will be running on the Hudson River less than a mile south of the river.
Careful running one on a river I lost a boat years ago current took it
@@jordancoleman2402 I've thought about that. As long as I stay 40 -50 yard to shore I'm ok. My kids kicked many soccer balls in and the wind from the west always brings the ball back. Should be ok,and the boat will come with the orange chase boat you have.
