Wow Mari, what an ordeal you undertook to set up your tent in heavy rain without a raincoat while juggling an umbrella in your work clothes (that must've gotten soaked, but a good reason to get a new work outfit! lol) and I really like seeing you continuing to explore and excel at tent camping when you could've easily just decided to camp in the car. And you did a wonderful job getting rid of the puddles in the tent and then getting comfortable and making some delicious looking food! I always enjoy your work and hope that your shin feels better soon!

I don't know how you are able to dish out camping videos almost every week. Are there plenty of accessible campgrounds in Korea? It's like a couple hours in any direction to get to campgrounds for me. Great video BTW...glad you didn't get badly injured from that slip.

That was a tough trip. I remember when I was in the military and we were on a training exercise, we marched/walked in cold rain for hours, finally got to a place where we could set up our tents and were cold, tired and hungry. At least you got in dry clothes and had a hot meal. The beer helped too. Hope your bruise gets better. You show you were going to do this trip, rain or not. for that you are a super star
@@MariLife It was a wet cold day, but it makes me appreciate what you did in that hard rain. You had hot food, we had cold canned mystery meat, crackers that were stale when they were made, instant coffee, salt, pepper sugar napkin and 2 cigarettes that were made 10 years earlier. LOL.

I've gotten into the habit of always having a rain jacket in the car, especially when it's windy, it's better than an umbrella, or even just a windproof jacket. As a car driver, you never wear the same clothes as if you had to walk to work in any weather. An extra piece of clothing in the car is often useful.
