Thank you so much Punita. You are such a sweet friend to me. Have I told you lately how much I appreciate your constant positivity and nice comments. You make my day.
Doesn't she just have the funniest face?! (Unfortunately it's because she is extremely malnourished which gives her that stretched look - but we are working hard to fatten her up!)
We rescued a cat and named her Opal…and her brother Earl…after my husband’s grandparents. These names always got a chuckle at the vet…and here is another Opal! Thanks Gina. Love your channel.
Gina, this was delightful as always! Funnily enough, I was thinking when I clicked on this that I think your channel has been so consistent in how you put videos out - probably one of the most consistent and I love that as your videos always make me smile. I agree that booktube has helped me to focus in on reading for me and change some habits, though a fair few I acquired because of booktube! 😂 I have to say, you have been a huge influence there, especially the happiness I felt giving up reading goals and counting my reading or putting any kind of pressure on myself. I always think “What would Gina do?”😂 So glad we became friends and look forward to one day meeting in IRL - which we will do if you ever do a Rosamund Pilcher pilgrimage to Carbis Bay! 😂❤ Great answers - thanks for doing this!
Aww, thanks so much Jack. You are such an inspiration to me too. What a joy it's been following your journey. I cannot believe that I've never been to England! I've gooooooot to plan it soon.
Hi, Gina. I think I discovered your channel right around the time I started watching Miranda Mills. I've definitely acquired more cosy books since then 😅
Hi Gina, The consistancy and simplicity of your channel is why I love it so much. I' hope Amy does this tag. Glad she's back from her summer hiatus. I've been in the booktube community since 2017 and just this year have defined my reading taste cozy anything classics, fantasy, historical and literary fiction and sweeter romance,
I loved hearing about your journey! And that you went camping! 🎉 Was it Sandy that inspired you to try? You always seem to go on so many fun used book adventures so it would be fun to see you vlog that in the future if you end up deciding to do that! And thanks for the tag!! I'm glad I give you hope. 😅☺️
I WENT camping with Sandy! She taught me how to make the coffee, wash dishes, make art and how to kayak it was incredible. I’d loooove to start vlogging, but right now I’m in the “how many excuses can one make to get out of vlogging. It seems like so much work! I get so sad when old people (myself included!) start griping about young people. I know so many bright active engaged intelligent young people and I hope you get to rule the world sooner rather than later.
I for one (know there are tons others), am beyond happy that you decided to start a book tube channel😊😀😁😃🤗🤗🤗 ! I am indebted to you for Winter Solstice especially, as well as other Rosamunde bks. I peeked at Elle's channel; what does she mean by "she, they" next to her name?? Getting to know you for however long, I consider you a friend. Just wished we lived in the same state! Thanks Gina-girl🤗
Some people opt to put their pronouns out there - so you could refer to Elle as a she or as they. IE instead of 'by her name' you could say 'by their name'. Thanks so much for being here with me and for all your support and friendship!
Can I just say, you are fun and positive. I have a relatively new Booktube channel. I just posted a video that's a bit unusual. The premise is that time travel is possible. Obviously it's not, but it's fun to pretend. Yes, the video involves books.
Yes Star Trek is awesome ! :D The one i grew up with is Voyager :D. I also met some actors of Star Trek which was lovely. Ooh i also love Michael K Vaughan's channel :) . I actually like the low tech video's. I have watched some booktubers, which overly edited. It was like, speak, jump cut, speak, jump cut etc. It wasn't a normal story anymore, just all edited down. Which was too wild for me , i didn't like it. These low tech vids are much more cozy in my opinion :D ( and real ;) )
I don't like those heavily edited videos either. They annoy me. I love Star Trek Voyager! It's so good. I need to rewatch it. I never watched it when it was on regular tv back in the day, so I've only watched each episode once (during my pandemic binge which was so much fun). I've never met any of the actors, but they all seem like just the nicest people.
@@GinaStanyerBooks Agreed indeed. They annoy me as well. It can also be too much ;) Oh yes, they are all lovely. So so nice ^_^ . Did you know that Tim Russ, who plays Tuvok in Voyager, also makes lovely music! I have seen him on a small convention concert and it is lovely. I recommend!. ( of course i have no clue what your music taste is haha).
Gina, you are the epitome of cosy warmth, I just love the relaxing talking of books 😊. Live long and prosper 🖖.

Thanks Amy.
I love Opal, she looks kinda evil which I like in a cat. Thanks for the tag, it's been great hearing about everyone's booktube journey.

A fun tag to listen to Gina. I do hope you try some vlogging. Maybe for vlogmas?
I absolutely adore Miss Read!! 📚
Maybe Heidi! I just can't quite figure out how to pull it all together. One of these days I will!
This was great! Your hair looks gorgeous, but I love hearing your answers! You should have talked about your other channel!💛
Thanks Kelly! I always forget about my other channel. I haven't posted in so long that I don't really want people to even go over there LOL.
