My predictions: - Turkey controls the shortest path from European and North African ports to Asia that doesn't freeze in winter, making them a giant of international trade. Suez canal is still better, however, if you want to reach Indonesia or Southeast Asia. - Kazakhstan in this reality would likely become a hub for piracy, much like Somalia is in our world, but not due to chaos, rather since with their population density they probably couldn't effectively guard their entire coastline. - Without Russia, the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth wouldn't fall :) (Unless it's conquered by Sweden). It'd also be a strong naval power, since forests in eastern Europe have trees with good wood for shipbuilding (Historically, British imported a ton of wood from prussia for that purpose, back when prussia was a vassal of PLC) - Germany might become the dominant European superpower after it unifies, but without Napoleon unification of Germany might take a little longer. Until then, Habsburgs would probably enjoy a much more stable domination over Europe without french to worry about (Might even conquer all of Italy and put a Habsburg on Polish throne) - With North America and India both gone, Great Brittain is gonna take a very different approach to colonisation. I think they'd intensify efforts in east asia, Japan is probably gonna be conquered by the British in this reality. - Genghis Khan is probably not happening in this reality, not with the record on naval invasions Mongolian empire had on their conquests. - Without manchu attacking them from the north and China influencing their politics, Korea will probably prosper more than in reality. Unlikely to stop Europeans from conquering them. That's more or less all I could come up with
America is not divided, so it would be left without Canada, the United States and Brazil, as a curious fact Brazil is the largest contiguous country in America surpassing the United States and Canada
Saying NA and SA are the same continent is like saying Africa and Asia are the same continent because of Egypt, or that Oceania and Asia are the same continent because of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Where are you from? 😂
I think the main reason for the feeling of emptiness is the fact that multiple countries have straight lines for borders and bordering countries then look strange as coasts don’t naturally form such straight lines naturally.
Interesting video! But I also wanted to hear something about how would the climate change. My opinion: everywhere in the world would be mild sea climate with lower temperature variations. Also, many currents, such as Brasilian, East Australian and Kuroshio would be broken. Gulftream changes will make Scandinavia a colder place. I did not even mentioned biosphere because it's too complicated.

My predictions:
- Turkey controls the shortest path from European and North African ports to Asia that doesn't freeze in winter, making them a giant of international trade.
It'd also be a strong naval power, since forests in eastern Europe have trees with good wood for shipbuilding (Historically, British imported a ton of wood from prussia for that purpose, back when prussia was a vassal of PLC)
- Germany might become the dominant European superpower after it unifies, but without Napoleon unification of Germany might take a little longer. Until then, Habsburgs would probably enjoy a much more stable domination over Europe without french to worry about (Might even conquer all of Italy and put a Habsburg on Polish throne)
- With North America and India both gone, Great Brittain is gonna take a very different approach to colonisation.
Africa, Asia, and Europe are connected through Russia and the Middle east
Oh my Goodness. Please do your research before commenting misinformation.
Canada and USA are both 9 million km squared and Brazil is 8 million km squared. It said that in the video
@@LennonLove1515 Not in contiguous territory
Saying NA and SA are the same continent is like saying Africa and Asia are the same continent because of Egypt, or that Oceania and Asia are the same continent because of Indonesia and Papua New Guinea. Where are you from? 😂
As an English learner, these video essays is like good materials for IELST writing tests.
I wonder which language would be the most widely spoken language on this map.
German since there's many countries that speak German and none of them disappeared
@@PoeticDream yeah that makes sense.
Spanish, still ~200 Mio. in REst of Americas and Spain.
Can you do the 5th largest countries from each continent?

Metropolitan France is the part of France that’s in Europe
@@FieldLing639 Ok, ive just not heard it that way.
assumed it was along the same train of thought as metropolitan (city) vs (city)

I don't understand the point of these ridiculous scenarios. What's wrong with just exploring and presenting facts?
the point is entertainment, let people have fun

I think the main reason for the feeling of emptiness is the fact that multiple countries have straight lines for borders and bordering countries then look strange as coasts don’t naturally form such straight lines naturally.
You should’ve done this to Yakko’s world
Interesting video!
When people say Asia is the biggest continent it’s pretty hard to assume half of its land is just three countries
This is how it looks just removing the land mass, but how does it look with the new sea levels as removing this much land would absolutely cause the sea levels to drop.
Bro really said "Roughly exactly half" 💀

Europapark would be next to the ocean, you could see it from the rollercoasters, that would be neat
2:47 what city is that?
I wonder how much the sea levels will drop by with all of this extra sea and ocean
New Guinea, Bolivia, Italy and Nepal among others would have some impressive sea cliffs!
