Hy Gabriel, i really enjoyed this video series. Very strait forward and practical guidance. Thanks a lot for your time and effort. Next maybe a Revit/Robot video? :)
Hi Robert, that's an excellent idea. I usually utilize the software available at the company that I'm working at the time. Big structural engineering offices will provide you with a variety of software that you can choose from according to your skills. Meanwhile in small/family businesses you may have to use/learn what's available.
Great video sir I am currently doing my thesis on Modular building I would say this helped me a lot but are modelling the inter-module connections that simple for a multi-storey building and how do you do the load combinations? thanks
great video! how to combine wind and gravity loads under a comb and check the results in RBSAP? because it seems like the wind was analysed separetely and it didnt also show the forces on the members only panels?
Eai Gabriel, tudo bem?
Wind simulation in autodesk robot won't correlated with any codes. It is a problem if your project have expertise. Second problem result of wind simulation depends on how you model panels in you project. Specialy it is iportant where buiding have zones with high wind presurre. If you design one panel in these zones simulation will design middle value of wind pressure for all panel. It is not correct. Be cerful for a using this function
Thanks Gabriel for a good video. Your video are totally awesome! I learn lot of things from this series. I am waiting for Part 4.
Thanks kahn..appreciate your feedback....I'll upload part 4 soon.

Thanks Rezso. Glad you're enjoying it. I'll add that to the list for sure.
Great video :)
Thanks Eboni :)
Would you do an overview of the engineering software you use and why you choose to use them over other software in Australia?

I do the load combination in of these videos. It's hard to comment on modular connections without seeing the structure. What are your modules made of?
@@bengthebrazilianengineerinAus I have a 15-storey modular steel building
Great tutorial. Please where is part number 4

Hi Joao. I'll show how to create combinations in the next videos.

Will do soon Ayman..been a lot busy at work recently, but I will upload that one soon. Thanks

Thanks for the comment. Always important to compare the results to hand calculations and assure the software is giving you acceptable results.
