Sugar Mama is brutal in it's murdering tone. He uses dynamics like a demon drifting through a firey Hell.
What a fabulous time to be alive.
No one comes close to Peter! So much oozing from his soul!
Exactly!!!
So many are (rightfully) pointing out Peter was the best bluesguitarist. But, it doesn't do him he honour he deserves. Peter was also the best rock guitarist. Whether it was progrock, heavyrock, 50's rock, whatever era. He mastered it all. His range was lightyears beyond the blues only.
And I haven't even got to his voice .... !!!
Peter is laying his demons out when he plays, his slow playing let's him feel every note letting his notes talk for his pain. He was great at hiding his pain but his playing could not do the same. Love ya Peter as a guitarist and a classy person with love for all. Bless you!
Yes, Peter Green had the blues and he was highly sensitive. a very special person and brilliant in what he did, Yes, I agree with what you say, and I believe he is chosen to give us this gift. Thank you... whoever... if it was God who sent this to us. Thanks very much
Peter Green had to be the most beautiful human being on earth.
He still is!
Yeah I read he wanted to give alot of money away and the band didn't like that idea.
All True and it comes out in his playing
A great way to thinking a man Blake
Yes, he's so humble, no ego, he doesn't need to "show off" like so many other musician's/performers. No "tricks, bell's & whistles". What you see & hear is a true, talented, gifted, special soul, the real deal!!😘 I wish I could've seen him live, met him, talked with him.😥 He's one of a kind, his music lives on & on💚🎶💚🎶🌍💯🔥🔥
just blows me away how great these guys were. one of the greatest bands around back then. this music stands the test of time. loved FM back then, still love FM today. bye bye Peter Green. you made phenomenal music and made so many of us happy
yeah boys you are the best we all miss Peter
It must have been great for those present there to see early Fleetwood Mac perform live and Danny Kirwan's intense vibrato on One Sided Love!
Saw em during that tour in the Dutch countryside. Leersum "De Weerwolf". Awesome gig.
This was exactly yesterday, 55 ys. ago.....
please also note the good performance of Jeremy Spencer;D Like in the Got the move song!
Fabulous Sugar Mama preceded by an extraordinary instrumental. The great Peter Green!

Nice...at his peak nobody came close musically/vocally..that goes for the whole band and Danny Kirwan 2nd track is tasteful..
Great set, thanks for sharing. Peter is amazing there seems to be a direct connection between his heart, head, his fingers and a Higher Power- their is no better white blues guitarist. He left us with a chest of live material that explores his gift and mindset. RIP to The Green God, Peter Green
Espectacular ? simplemente espectacular cuando Peter Green !! rip saludos desde México 11 / 02 / 2021
Good singing by Jeremy! Never heard of Tallahassee Lassie before. RIP Danny and Peter💙✝️
Exelent playing by the whole band.
There is a fantastically similar tone and sequence to the 2+ minute "Greeny Alone" with the hit "Shine on, Crazy Diamond" intro !?!?! I feel u Mr. David Gilmore!
thnx
wow, live version of sugar mama!
Fantastic; soul stirring blues! Thanks!
What fantastic guitarplay 💚💚💚
Thanks Live, for the mighty CLASSIC FM. I don't just like it, I LOVE it! Beautiful clean sound, the notes are clear and easy to hear. The band is in fine form here. Like 61, C8, V3178. /:-)
Hey now John
Thank you for playing this great concert. So I can be there without ever having been there....Fantastic!
So that's what they were doing the day I was born.
Your mam knew it
takes some courage to cultivate the roots of blues music so authentically. at that time since 1967 rock bands were picking up speed and heading towards who is the loudest, heaviest and fastest player. today we see clearly the great value and merits of peter green and the band. i have heard them later during their journey with their more pop oriented songs which are also great today.
Thank you for this. Huge fan of Peter but and Fleetwood Mac but I've never heard this show. Greeny Alone blew my mind
Danny and Peter as expressive as always. Check out "Preaching the Blues" live set to hear Danny Jeremy Spencer at their best.
Quality recording for live considering ...
Great sound and great playing. Wish it was longer.
Such a great blues band.
Blues band is a too limited definition. They were a complete rock band. Prog, melodic, blues, experimental. Everything and full package.
🌹🌹🌹such wonderful man 🌹🌹🌹yes he was further and not understood in that time
Great tone on Merry Go Round.
One sided love by Danny KIRWAN never heard this before where can I get this cd!
This is what's known as a "collectors" CD...if you get my drift.
It's right here brother
✨🇬🇧✨☯️✨🙏✨👍✨🎸✨
Peter - "they must all have the clap" funny fucker.
Be Natural Baby!
Or B natural :)
Shame one sided love is cut.
i'd swear it on this date { 2 gigs that day! } is when the X-rated F. Mac played their infamous "Blue Suede Shoe's" Yes the one that got them booted from a many U K clubs The stuffy owners had at best no sense of humor PS it can be heard on the PROMO version of Shrine '69 !
Yes. I have the full length silver disc of this show, and let`s say that that devilish Imp Jeremy does get carried away when he sings "Blue Suede Shoe`s" at the end of the show. I nearly fell off my chair when I realized what he was saying. Cover of CD has a BW shot of a Big Mac burger with bands faces between the buns. Worth searching for. They were such a "ribald" band. They were band from the London`s "Marquee Club" for life. While in Sweden on tour they picked up "Harold", with a suction cup at the end and they would stick it (him) to the base drum. Jeremy would have certain items filled with milk hanging from the tuning keys of his guitar. Splashing all over the place. Before Peter`s condition changed, these guys had a lot of laughs and fun galore. Love them all forever. A real gift !!!
Red? No; GREEN! of donkerzwart!
Green is a much better guitarist than Clapton.
One note from Peter Green is better than 100 tones from Yngwie Malmsteen.
