Just to answer all your questions, no its not the spot geoff was talking about, the rail over the ditch was already there and carried wires from one side to the other, yes i do ride for spitfire and have for 15 years, i ride 56mm conical full formula4s, i deknobed, bondod and cut the kink off the rail i front feebled and was the only person to skate it at the time. Figgy and foy skated it six months after me. And my heel doesnt drag when i 5-0. If the rubber on the shoe touches it pulls your foot back on the tail and makes you slam, it was also raining a little when i did the bs 5 and if the rubber had touched it wouldve been even more dangerous. Thanks for the review guys!
That rail to hubba is at the LA Convention Center. I saw it like 20 years ago. It's so heavy in person. I was like one day someone is going to pull it! Holy Fuck!!!
dane is under sponsored & underrated a.f. this cat deserves a vans pro model, pro model thunders, fuck, my boy struggling with rent & skates at this calibur! Skate industry is a bit fucked.
As an older guy myself, it's cool watching the old timers being humbled and astonished by the next generations. Also cool seeing the next generations continuing to innovate and take risks. I'm not just talking about boarding either; it applies to all facets of life. Next time you hear "f**ing millenials" or whatever, remember this video. The next gens shred the older generations...it's just how life works, shred or die.
How could someone give this a thumbs down?!!!! You will never see more balls to the wall rail rips than that. I seen cats with worse balance than Daner. 2 thumbs way da hell up.
I was watching the video before i watched this, I couldn't tell the diffirence, I thought it was a hardflip he did in the begining there. Guess i need to pay more atention:D
I used to do nollie pressure flips like that and I could get them high. Playing skate I'd try to tell people it's no hard flip but that's what tried anyways.
Hey guys I would love to see some frog skateboards stuff, I feel like you guys have been kinda avoiding them, but they are really leading a huge fan base and influence.
I don't think this is the spot Geoff Rowley mentioned. He said it's on the same side as the "Rowley hubba". While this spot is on the other side of the building.
Steezus was right. Windsor and David Reyes and a bunch of other people have murdered that Colorado rail. It gets on pretty low at the top so you see people doing manuals into and out of it. Also haven't heard anybody talk about an illusion flip for like 20 years lol.
Dane has been known for being very honest and sometimes "rough around the edges." I think he's mellowed out over the years but It's possible that some of them have had some rough encounters with him. That being said Dane is a good person who doesn't bullshit anyone. He makes time for other people and he's serious about working on himself. Kudos to Dane for being a great skater AND a caring person.
Please. Please. Please tell skaters to stop using GX footage, there are so many incredible cameras out there, why drag your footy through a meatgrinder just to try and emulate an era that was about the times not the quality of the tape!
Got to realize allot of these filmers are from that time. It's not an emulation it's what they know. Not saying you aren't right but I'd bet it's allot of the same filmers.

Holy shit
Hey now, illusion flips were people trying to actually flick fs flips but just Muska-flipping.
Kelly snuck in a quick game of tennis before the pod.
Kelly could be either 13 or 30 I can never tell
You snuck in a quick game of tennis before the pod, mate, if anyone did...
Jeff even mentioned that Dan should be the one to try the spot he was talking to the 9 club about the spot
9:00 looks like a retrofit tube for cables and wires and shit that weren't there when they built the drainage ditch
Yo 9 club peeps, Dane did ollie into that roof he tried tre flip on. It’s on his Instagram, posted right after the premiere of damn it all

The spot rowley was talking about is a double kinked massive hubba you cans see it on the rollaway in the second angle for a second,
Agreed
Dane Birman IS sponcered by Spitfire and he rides 53 mm conical Full F4’s
I actually ride 56mm
I’m just trying to sound like the skateboard expert lol really the best wheel
Cool that they mentionedJani Laitiala switch powerslide in San Fransisco. Thats that shit!!
Figgy did a switch front board on the white curve rail. Either that or a switch front feeble
Gnarly
Geoff did say he was going to tell Dane about the spot so I assume it is.
“I look like a Figgy rail” classic
How could someone give this a thumbs down?!!!! You will never see more balls to the wall rail rips than that. I seen cats with worse balance than Daner. 2 thumbs way da hell up.

I used to do nollie pressure flips like that and I could get them high. Playing skate I'd try to tell people it's no hard flip but that's what tried anyways.
Does anyone know who made that graphic of Trump and Kim that's over Steezus shoulder?
That is the spot Rowley was talking about

What is Chris writing down ? Is he listing off clips?
I think he writes talking points down to stay on course through the podcast. Probably marks them off as he goes.
He’s like a skateboarding doctor

Who thumbs downed this? 3 haters who are just mad Chris didnt have the time to sign their t shirt..
Stuntman Burm!!!
If Mason doesn't get SOTY I'm never skating again! The ball's in your court Thrasher.
I think Geoff also suggested Dane would be the dude to do it on the 9 club.
Eldy where you get your hat bro??
He stands up on the rail and his angle lasts the length of the rail in the pocket
I believe you guys are referring to spitfire conical fulls aka the most popular skateboarding wheel out right now lol
It's not though
Just noticed his Modern Warfare cap
Ledge grinds should be balanced, its not mandatory for rails though.
Ssshhh
i will stand my ground for locked in, tweaked 5ohs tho. nosegrinds must be balanced tho
I think he skates formula 4 tablets
The driver of that car had the audacity to honk at greatness!! Smfh 😒😒😒😒

Indy also makes a sets that fit their trucks
the vibe here felt weird.. love dane, but dont get the feeling these dudes do, or they just hade a weird moment or something in this clip.
that switch crook was mad, so much commitment..... didn't really say much about it

Style is so whack. That's the issue with 'gnarly' skaters
