Hi Trenton, looks like things are going along nicely about your tractor you have what is called blow buy that is where the smoke is coming from the cylinder liners are getting worn and the piston rings are not seating along with the valves'. I would have to do some tests to make sure but low power bad Idle all points to that outcome.
Great video Trenton with lots going on. Interesting hearing talking about the unusual weather for the time of year, as here in Scotland we have seen some real changes in the past few years which is affecting planting patterns. Would you say you have noticed a major change in the last few years too? Loved your haircut comment, I need to use that one at the barbers next time I go. Thanks from Scotland.
Beautiful country! Love the mountains, I'm what y'all would call a "flatlander", but I'm not far from our VA mountains. Great video, and the Nitro does a great job spreading!
When you idealed you could her injector knock I think id go threw the injectors and pump with that many hours pump seals and ect is weak so I'd do that soon not spraying fuel right will wash the rings down
Hey Buddy, on the tractor 🚜, you may have a couple of injectors going OUT, or the Sensors might be going bad, if it runs better like you were saying after you reved the motor up and then backed it to a normal throttle or idle, , ALOT of what you have described is what sounds like injector system issues or censors that are inside the injectors, if they are going OUT, it would probably CAUSE multiple problems with POWER, just My opinion 🤔, But that's what I would check or change 1st , because I have had that happen to me before, CYA SOON NEXT TIME 👍✌️🚜🌞😎🔥🔥
Black smoke could be air being restricted. Less power could the transfer pump. Hard starting could be injector pump or worn out injectors. You said it was overhauled. Were the injectors replaced then? If replace them.
@@LeighCowley I believe they’re the original injectors. All of that stuff should’ve been done when it was overhauled but the shop that overhauled never bothered with it.
@ if the are original then have the replaced. The injector pump lasts for long time but if it’s hard to start it’s either the pump or injectors. But first if it lacks power I would check the transfer pump that’s the cheapest. It may still pump good but the O rings get worn and let fuel pass by. Like I said if it smokes worse than it did the I would check the air cleaner. Sometimes birds or what ever can bring stuff down the breather tube and restrict flow before the filter. Then check both primary and secondary filters for restrictions. If you are getting fuel into the engine oil it could come from unburned fuel leaking past the rings on the pistons. Or it come from the injector pump itself since it’s lubricated from the engine oil its self.
For me it don't matter what tractor brand is use I don't care if it's old or new my motto is use the nearest piece of machinery available to get the job done yeah I might be a John Deere Case IH fan or whatever you want to say but I know they have their models John Deere has their nothing running like a deere in Case IH owners have their motto of if it ain't red put it in the shed

A flail chopper cuts grass silages relatively fine.

Probably does need the pump rebuild.
