Loved watching a number of A league games before the pandemic can't wait to return to do more. Looks like some other class stadiums outside of the league, woolagong and townsville would both be great to watch a game
Some Changes since this Video came out. 1. Central Coast Stadium is now called Industree Group Stadium 2. Brisbane Roar have moved back to Suncorp but will also play a game at Ballymore this season, Long Term Roar will move to Ballymore 3. The Upcoming Season will be the last season where Wellington will play home games in Auckland due to the upcoming Auckland Expansion but at least one of their Auckland Games will be at Go Media Mount Smart Stadium in November which will be a double header 4. Sydney FC have moved into the new Allianz Stadium 5. Western United will play home games in there new Training Facility from December onwards until there new stadium is built, there 3 opening home games will be at Mars Stadium in Ballarat 6. Bill Foley is the preferred bidder for the Auckland Expansion and intends to name the team Auckland Black Knights, Foley owns Vegas Golden Knights, Henderson Silver Knights, Vegas Knight Hawks, AFC Bournemouth and a Minority Owner of FC Lorient
I think Adelaide's stadium looks the best. I like stadiums that are incorporated into the urban area instead of being out on the outskirts. Plus I think it looks like an old English football ground.
Best of the lot is Wellington Phoenix's ground. As long as you discount the yellow seats and the oval shape. One thing though....it doesn't take a big crowd to make the place sound noisy. 👍
Went to an a league match in 2018. Sydney derby while visiting. The growth in quality from when I last watched an a league match in 2014 was good. Really enjoyed the quality of football and most importantly, how supporters in the stadiums are still allowed to make noise and have a beer unlike in england
You should do vid specialist on feyenoord stadium (de kuip) one of the most beautiful stadium in the world its very unic in its own way and allot of stadiums are build based on de kuip
Melbourne Victory are playing all there home games at AAMI Park, Wellington Phoenix will play at least 2 home games in NSW at a Venue TBC, Western United were going to play home games at Lakeside Stadium instead but tenants South Melbourne from the NPL VIC has a hissy fit and as a result Western United will play those games at AAMI Park instead despite objections from Victory and City, Brisbane Roar moved to Moreton Daily Stadium due to the high rent at Suncorp
@@chrism4816 Blame the venue owners if you want to blame anybody "common knowledge" is not a legally binding defense, Western United and Hellas got what they wanted in the end anyway as WU wanted AAMI Park anyway
@David Lim Nix fan myself and the plan is to be back in NZ by the New Year but we will have to see what happens, Talay was unhappy with the Training Facilities in the Gong so I reckon we will train in Sydney and play down at the Gong for those 2 games against the Wanderers and Mariners
@David Lim I have been to Dolphin Stadium and its a cracking Veune but i think the Barike Group need to get on there hands and knees and beg the QRU to let them use Ballymore one the Redevelopment is finished
the irony is redcliffe dolphins have been expanded to the NRL & are playing their Brisbane matches in Suncorp. but as a Sydney FC supporter, I have a soft spot for Leichardt Oval, but looking forward to see them at the new Moore Park. great content.
A league has great potential with the stadiums. I hope it attracts some great players in the future. Is mark viduka stadium home to an a league team or is that a smaller team playing there, Melbourne knights I think the teams called? Are they just below the a league?
@Dracula By far, Australia has far less football (soccer) culture than most of the world. The A-League is much less relevant than probably around 5 other sports leagues in the country.
Western United were going to play matches at Lakeside Stadium in South Melbourne. This was until the South Melbourne Soccer Club blocked them and had them banned from the Stadium. Lakeside in my view in the most appropriate A-League Venue in Victoria yet has never seen a single A-League fixture.
Nice.. very up do date with the new .\ A Leagues logo (yes both Men and Women leagues), and some recent renamings (Commbank not BankWest). Also of note A-League is one of the few football competitions where the competition badge is on the front rather than shoulder. Also obviously picked up the news that Western United will play most games at AAMI rather than Lakeside Stadium, after being vetoed by a 2nd tier team in a stadium owned by the State Govt. Looking forward to Sydney FCs new stadium. It's looking epic with the facade starting to go up.
FYI Brisbane Water on the Central Coast is named after Brisbania, which was the areas original name. Shame that Newcastle won't finish the seating, spreading it around. The hills, IMHO, are horrible.
i lost my wallet at perth’s stadium the only time i’ve been and have gone to oh so many games at campbelltown, i live so close to it i can hear the crowd noise when macarthur united games are played
@@killbot86 If your talking about last season we only played 2 games in NZ both of which got over 20K while our crowds in the Gong were shit, in 19/20 we averaged 8.6K which was 5th overall in attendance as for the Knights it was 2007 which is nearly 15 years ago and Auckland is the only untapped Market with 1 Million + people left
@@killbot86 Idk what rock youve been under but the Nix played Western United in wellington with 24k and Perth at Eden Park with 22k at the end of the season. Before Covid we were getting 9 - 13k. Believe it or not Football is more popular then Rugby in NZ. Stop being a wanker
1:18 And I've always thought we had too many of these 'wave breakers' in newer German stadiums or on new standing terraces...come on, if everybody has it's own breaker, this has nothing to do with 'safe standing', that's insane. Australians really seem to have a safety fetish even more than the Germans or the British do.
A-league stadiums are just way too big. Most teams have stadiums with around 30,000 capacity but barely get 10,000, making them look empty. I'm assuming this is because most clubs share the stadiums with rugby teams and don't actually own their stadiums?
I can't wait to get back to SFS although I like jubilee stadium. I will not be sad to see the back of Leichhardt. Poor transport and terrible stadium in general
5:20 *shows Newcastle’s most notable building* I just spit out my drink
Too bad Newcastle is now a cockless city 😢
I live in Newy. This made my day.

Fun Fact for Leichhardt Oval:
1. It's not an Oval. It's a Rectangle
2. It's located in Lilyfield.
Correct name should be Lilyfield Rectangle
U got that from Beau Ryan
Credit Beau Ryan for that
It's an NRL stadium not a soccer ground.

A road game from Perth all the way to Wellington, what a long Trip. Great video!!!!

Nothing beats a summer arvo by the palm trees on Brisbane Water 😍🌴
You should do Argentine football league next!! Amazing work man
Haven’t watched the vid yet but bring back the old music b7t this is good too
Good video!
Next A-League expansion clubs-
Gold Coast and Canberra
13th and 14th team
Wollongong and Tasmania
15th and 16th team
I reckon the other way round would be better. 4 places where a team is needed. Tasmania should have gotten western United’s license.
Canberra and Auckland got spots 13 and 14 in the end and Gold Coast seem to be favourites for 15
"Which add a bit of flavor...."
I am in tears

When will you do the NRL stadiums?
I wonder how many games at the Dolphins will get postponed due to the pitch flooding during the storm season over the summer?
Great video thanks
Can you do a video of future stadiums in Australia?
Thanks for another great video, will you A League Women stadiums?
Those sauce bottles are the most iconic thing out of all the A-league grounds. Not sure whether to laugh or cry about that.
AAMI park is truly one of the coolest looking stadiums in the world.
It’s hideous lol

Can you do Eredivisie once? Or twice, maybe? Because Stadion Feijenoord is in there as well you know, it would be a lovely video.

Conference league day 6?
Redcliffe Dolphins are now NRL bound 2023, likely to see upgrade in the stadium .
They will mainly play at Suncorp
