This video is about the DREO 43 inch pedestal fan. I thought it was a super modern looking fan and it blows very nice and strong. I also compared the strength of it to the Vornado 723DC fan

I'm looking to get a new fan and came across this video. Thanks for the info. Great vid.
This was a good review! I have a Dreo fan, myself! No issues, yet. Runs all day, everyday! ✊
To many moving parts
I have this Dreo fan and it works great, pushes out a ton of air for a smaller fan and has a lot of features. The only very small issue i could find is the 2 second delay when your using the remote other than that its the best fan I've ever owned. Definitely recommend
yea there's definitely a small delay when using the app and remote, but definitely overshadowed by how well the fan looks and works
Took a leap of faith and picked this up to replace a vornado that finally gave up the ghost.
Just like you, I was looking for a replacement vornado but saw this and thought I'd give it a shot.
$118 deal right now on Amazon.
And.. Thanks to your insight, it turns out I am eligible to file a warranty claim with Vornado with my dead unit.. I never thought about it until I watched this vid, thus the Dreo replacement.
When vornado first came out with the new line of fans, they gave some of them a lifetime warranty. People to this day over 20 years later have them and get them replaced. Awesome warranty plan!
I've found that Dreo fans sometimes have some odd or even nonsensical design choices that kind of keep them from being perfect, but they are otherwise phenomenal fans. I love them. Mostly.
How long is the power cord?
Very nice fan ! Does it come in 230v as well (for Europe)?
The desk fan that Dreo sell and the one that the guy in the video you were referring to used is more powerful than the pedestal version of the fan that you’re showcasing. The guy in fact video did mention that the Dreo pedestal fan does not blow air as hard as their desk fan and would be about the same as the Vornado. Still they both seem like pretty stylish fans!
I got the shark breeze fan and love it
I love the height and smart features of the Dreo but I like that the Vornado is made in the states and, more importantly, has a 10 year warranty. Dreo has only one year, which, with all the fancy features, doesn’t seem like enough. I have both coming in to battle it out and see which one gets to keep my sweaty body cool at night.
gotta tell me the results
@@TheHonestCatholic they’re here and I’m conflicted. I got a USA made Vornado, and this Dreo.
Both move surprising amounts of air. The Vornado wins by a small margin. It’s a little louder but the Vornado can move houseplants from across the living room so it’s got some power. It has a small noise because of the motor but it’s very quiet.
The Dreo is plenty powerful and even more quiet than the Vornado which is quiet itself. You really only hear the air from the Dreo, even at high speeds.
The Vornado wins in the build quality section, the plastics and the stand are substantial.
The Dreo just feels like your average Lasko plastic. Fine but could have been sturdier. Doesn’t feel like it’s gonna break easily, but if it takes a tumble then it might be bad.
The smart features on the Dreo are crazy. All the angles and settings and Alexa integration are top notch. The Vornado has a single, continuously variable knob. The knob is slick though and I love having total control of speed.
I think it’s gonna boil down to 10 year vs 1 year warranty. The cheap plastic-ness of the Dreo makes me feel like that one year warranty isn’t enough.
Dreo and Vornado fans are excellent fans. I lean toward the Vornado because I think it's a little more powerful. I upgraded to a Vornado from a Lasko pedestal fan which was complete garbage.
Yea vornado fans are built just a little bit better than most consumer grade fans!
@@beardedreviews I bought 2 Vornado fans. The pedestal one and the 10 inch desk fan. I put them in each corner of my room. Even on setting 1 the lowest fan speed I can still feel the air flow.
Can you lock it it any position or does it keep oscillating?
yes you can lock it in any position
This or the meaco pedestal?
Video is perfect not a lot of info out there on comparing these two brands. While I appreciate the breakdown of the video you were referring too, it was two different motors. This is more fairly comparable.
$200 DC Vornado (10yr warranty) or $114 DC Dreo (smart features)
There’s really no in between 😂
Yea I saw that and I know a little bit about vornado fans. One of my neighbors is actually the guy who developed the new style vornado fans. I tried to keep the prices similair with the $140 dreo and the $150 vornado (with better warranty)
Is it a headache to clean like the vornado?
I would assume, yes, with all the small little plastic blades on the face, it would be hard to get in there and clean
it's a nice looking fan, however i use a CED pedestal fan from the year 2000 and it throws out more breeze. Plus i don't really like modern fans as they don't last very long
Cool fan but…..are those blackout curtains? I’m currently looking for blackout curtains
Yes they are. I got them at Menards
Can this fan be controlled only by off line voice control? As you speak to the fan: Open the fan, It will answer: the fan is opened master.
Is it rechargable?
No it's plug-in only
Began making a clicking noise while oscilating after 3 month
mine hasn't started clicking yet. Could maybe be a defective unit
dreo Looks better than that black chunk of plastic virnado
You pronounced it wrong.. Oreo is pronounced aw-ree-ow.. this is almost spelled the same it's pronounced draw-ree-ow.l
