I used to go to Circus all the time, back in the 80's. I was a Circus Lifer that was my membership card. I did not have to wait in line. Believe me, there was a long line at the door on Sunday Nights. I was working at the Factory Clothing Store in Downtown Los Angeles at the time. Now I am 67 years old and retired after 22 years working at an Auto and Home Insurance Co. in Orange County. Great Memories! God Bless those who I partied with and those who are no longer here who are Dancing in Heaven.

The So. Cal. scene used to mix this song at a higher rpm/pitch than the east coast. Depending what part of the set and/or which hour of the night I was spinning, that would set the tempo. If I was the early DJ of the night it would be towards the end of the set to build for the next guy and actually it was a little slower. At whatever speed, it still a great track!!!

Used to mix "not love" with this one but faster east los,mtb,and pico rivera djs played it fast the cha cha's loved it! Mystical Desire,New Technics,and Indecent Exposure we all used to spin at The Casa,Kennedy Hall,CSO Hall,DQ's and most of the local backyard partys then and after go crusing Whittier Blvd or Legg Lake THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!

@g1a1h1 You must not be from Los Angeles, bcuz this is the way we played it here. I used to spin back in the days and heard this track on the original speed and it just doesn't have a danceable rythm. I guess that was part of the reason why they called this Hi-Nrg music. Great track regardless...
