"I'm in love with you, but the vibe is wrong"... This song reflects literally the ending of my relationship. I'm devastated but this song and its album are really helping me to understand a relationship can end because other reasons than losing love for each other and be able to get over it.
This is what is most painful...When there is still love between two people, is that one of them, decide to reject you "again" and block you in all possible communications...Like in this beautiful masterpiece... ua-cam.com/video/OydK91JjFOw/v-deo.html The worst is when the rejection is based on a stupid misunderstanding on the one hand, and a very bad understanding on the other hand, having triggered "The damned Kraken & his cohort of demons", destroying everything... Anger is always a bad advisor... It makes you make many mistakes, like erasing yourself, refusing him from now on, all access to your conscience, your thoughts, as he did himself, and lock yourself in a cold mutism to heal, move forward and especially protect yourself from all new venomous and painful stings... Instinctively you must protect yourself and take refuge in your citadel... Even if you have to live with a love lockdown and a cold case love too... ua-cam.com/video/eMjEyWaoNKE/v-deo.html To love sincerely and deeply someone and to lose him in such a brutal and violent way...It's hurt like hell... ua-cam.com/video/Uil0L-0F4no/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/IPPTTvxojvg/v-deo.html And I'm still wondering how to communicate with a very complex emotional "Rubik's Cube"... ua-cam.com/video/MM62wjLrgmA/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/ifv7S__-vaI/v-deo.html Don't ask me why... +William Schwenke Spaceships!!!! Dude just because Kanye doesn't make music like this anymore it doesn't mean it doesn't exist anymore. I'm 18 and still bumping that College Dropout
+zongo maqutu I never said it doesn't exist, I'm just kids will never know Kanye for the Artist he really he is. They're caught up on the hate that people give him and they don't give him a chance to know who and what he really is all about. I still say Kanye is all time Top 10 Rapper/Producer!! I just wish he could still make songs that could be Hits, Billboards Top 10 like he used to. Now it's just Features with other Artists and it doesn't show his true ability for the Rapper he actually is
You can say whatever you want about kanye. Hate him or love him, he makes great music either way. to me 808 and heartbreak and mbdtf are his best albums hands down.
I love how every comment is reminiscing on the past "Kanye". But when 808's was released 6 years ago, people said the same shit: "808's sucks, bring back the old Kanye" blah blah blah... Some amazing fans you are. When will you all realize that he switches his style up every album. :/
Everything you said is correct, but I'd say that his style is evolved starting from 808's, I mean there would be no MBDTF w/out 808's and the same for Yeezus with MBDTF. But again, you said it: people used to HATE 808's when it first come out, now they keep saying the same shit about "past" Kanye. They're not fans.
@@kurtkurtkurt3449 I would assume most of his money is in assets like stocks, real estate, prized possessions that appreciate in value over time, and some in a savings account. And I don't think any smart person or their financial advisors would have or suggest 150 million in cash. The cash is just losing to inflation and is costing an opportunity to make even more money. 150 million in a checking account would make sense given his net worth and isn't easily stolen. PS: learn financial literacy and how to manage money
This entire album is still outshining with creativity, more than anything else that has been put out since and still can't get even close to this talented albeit eccentric, but immensely unique and talented individual! ❤
+Randy Reyes he never was humbe look up old interviews of him in 2002 saying he will be the fucking best and he didn't have an album out yet and saying he's his own favorite rapper
Randy Reyes you have to be confident in order to make it nobody makes it big being humble they have to believe in themselves and it is neccesary considering that he is a rapper where arrogance is welcomed specially in the beginning of his career people said he couldn't rap and was only a producer so he used his arrogance and became one of biggest artists to shame them
Man.... can’t believe people didn’t fuck with 808’s when it first came out. I can understand electro pop by a rapper was crazy and unheard of then but everything from 808’s was just so beautiful. Happy to see how influential and popular it is today. They really took this for granted back then.
nikole of course he changed the game Kanye Is one of those artist that influence other artists like that Kanye is the best luv him lol I miss this Kanye I do care about the new Kanye this I really Srry for his parents deaths why did his old fiancé leave him this album amazing
Ive known about it since 2k shame that you cant see my facebook account and no im not going to tell how to reach it but ive told the world about the shizzle thats happening and about to happen nobody cared now its too late
Me too but some of it is back, just look up Kendrick Lamar and Sza in the "All of the Stars" video that just dropped for Black Panther, it will remind you of this but it tops all with the visuals.
for the people who keeps on commenting shit saying: when kanye was kanye what you dont know is that when kanye dropped this song (and also the whole 808 album) everyone kept on saying that they need the old (college dropout/no auto tune kanye) kanye stop comparing between kanye's style , because thats what makes him special and different ... 10 years from now ull go to the blackskinhead video and comment "when kanye was kanye" quote me when im right
preach I vividly remember niggas complaining about this album saying I like his old music I want the old ye from college dropout and late registration his new a shit is wack now years later people are saying I want the old ye from 808's and heartbreak I'm like really MF fucking retards lol
+Varian Moore because kanye is a genius .. he is always way more above any other artist ... let me put it in another way, yeezus is from the future .. it sounds strange but thats what most of the rapper will do in 5-10 years from now on
I only today found out that Kanye produced the album with this song after the death of his mother and the break-up with his fiance. The music video reflects his mood, his depression, as if the memories and the ghosts from the past are haunting him.
I Hated This Album When It Came Out, I Was So Stuck In The Soul Sound Of His First Two Albums And Work He Did For Common, Alicia Keys & John Legend. Fast Foward Almost 20 Years Later, This Entire Album Speaks To Me More Than ANY Of His Albums. The Overall Melancholic Theme, The Simple But Visceral Sound Of The Drums Paired With The Futuristic Synths And 808's Gives It The Sound Of A Peak Society On The Brink Of Destruction Leading Into A Post-Apocalyptic World.
I was like 7 and i had no idea who kanye was but i loved the sound of this song and now i got into kanye nearly 10 years later i realised this beast sung this song along. Hes such a legendary artist
All of kanyes music is like wine it gets better with age when 808s first came out everyone was asking for the old Kanye and now everyone loves it same with yeezus and tlop to follow
Kanye was never one of the artists that I would listen to, but a number of his songs are really nice and stayed with me over the years. Love lockdown is one of them. The visuals are stunning, the combination between the rich content in a minimalist touch is winning my attention all the time. Power music video is also really good.
There's so many... His music is part of my childhood when I didn't have toys to play with. Something about this just touches my inner me and makes me dance and sing.
This song takes me back to childhood when my brother and I used to share the room and this was the song for waking up. I hated this for a while but now I listen to it every time I miss family, as I am working abroad and childhood is gone forever.
Anxhela Dardha very true when I was young i didn’t quite understand the song and now that I’m older (23) I now get what he saying now that I’m going thru Kanye is a mastermind
As someone with relationship ocd/anxiety, trauma, attachment issues and a personality disorder this song makes me feel understood and at home when it comes to love. I don't know if I really love anyone in my life because I never feel like I love anyone "enough". Anxiety and overthining kicks in. And then I have to runaway because I'm confused. But yet I still got love and I'm still in love with that someone. This song is much deeper than people may think. It's show how anxiety, stress, trauma, and mental disorders can really fuck love up and relationships for someone and feel like you have no control over it. Other than to runaway from that person or end the relationship.
It's crazy because I have heard this a million times because I loved old Kanye. .. And I guess I never really paid much attention to the meaning of the lyrics because damn... This realization hit me hard in my feels

"I can't lie to you, no matter how many times I uh uhhhh!"
"I'm in love with you, but the vibe is wrong"...
This song reflects literally the ending of my relationship. I'm devastated but this song and its album are really helping me to understand a relationship can end because other reasons than losing love for each other and be able to get over it.
This is what is most painful...When there is still love between two people, is that one of them, decide to reject you "again" and block you in all possible communications...Like in this beautiful masterpiece...
ua-cam.com/video/OydK91JjFOw/v-deo.html
The worst is when the rejection is based on a stupid misunderstanding on the one hand, and a very bad understanding on the other hand, having triggered "The damned Kraken & his cohort of demons", destroying everything...
Even if you have to live with a love lockdown and a cold case love too...
ua-cam.com/video/eMjEyWaoNKE/v-deo.html
To love sincerely and deeply someone and to lose him in such a brutal and violent way...It's hurt like hell...
ua-cam.com/video/Uil0L-0F4no/v-deo.html
ua-cam.com/video/IPPTTvxojvg/v-deo.html
And I'm still wondering how to communicate with a very complex emotional "Rubik's Cube"...
ua-cam.com/video/MM62wjLrgmA/v-deo.html
ua-cam.com/video/ifv7S__-vaI/v-deo.html
Don't ask me why...

We got together , I told her “ I will never cheat on you , never hit you , if you want me never to lie , don’t ask about my past” I kept my word , she did too.
After 30 years some thing was wrong , the dice was rolling , didn’t know what it was , said nothing , was extra vigilant , my defences were up . Then sept 2017 my wife and 2 daughters announced they had found my family , it took £ 14000 and failed cos of actions I had taken to hide . I had 2 forged id’s then 1 they knew me as,it took dna test to find my family in USA . To them this was really good they were ecstatic , to me it was end of my world which was just them.
I never asked fo it,
After 35 years in total I was out of house in 20 mins .
Left everything but clothes on my back and 1 hold-all ,I know they didn’t understand ,
I lived homeless on spare ground behind garden center , 4 years later was seen by friend of friend , they told my wife , who arrived with 2 daughters and 1st grandchild I had never met. They full of apologies and vowing never to communicate with my family again ,.
It took 4 weeks to convince me to go back with them, it was not the same , seperate bedrooms , never touched my wife , I wouldn’t even go in bathroom when she was in it,
Met my younger daughters friend from unI many time she was studying psychology. One day she was stareing at me for longest time till I said “what” , she replied “ you need some serious professional help, your head is all mashed up”.
They all went on to list odd behaviour ,like asking to use toilet every time , asking if I could make cup of tea , only ever sitting on kitchen chair in kitchen and turning it to face door, disappearing for up to three days , having an object fear of grandchild, terrible nightmares all night every night that I had no memory, many more , too many to mention, all I could say was “ something ain’t right it’s not the same ,the vibe is wrong , I’m not loving you the way I want to “ daughters friend said “ that’s love lockdown by Kanye west”
Never heard of it before so hear I am listening to it , and at last talking ,

Today's Kids will NEVER KNOW this side to Kanye West
false
+j galaviz okay....name another song of Kanye's Greatest Songs....This one is an Example...
Now it's just Features with other Artists and it doesn't show his true ability for the Rapper he actually is

kanye’s aesthetic was ahead of time, genius.
He is a creative Genius
This song was futuristic.. way ahead of its time..
How is it possible for something in the past to be futuristic? It’s not futuristic, it just set the trend
You can say whatever you want about kanye. Hate him or love him, he makes great music either way. to me 808 and heartbreak and mbdtf are his best albums hands down.
graduation was way better
not my favorite but it was really good as well
Aubrey's Wife What! It was way better than mbdtf. That My Beautiful Dark Twisted fantasy album is what made people start hating kanye
and we're supposed to refer to what most people think ? Personally, those are my fave albums. You can have yours lol it's ok :))
Aubrey's Wife Im not saying that popular opinion is bad but its a lot better than unpopular opinion
sometimes there are just songs where the lyrics perfectly relate to what you're going through. this song will always be in my top 5 of all time
I love how every comment is reminiscing on the past "Kanye".
But when 808's was released 6 years ago, people said the same shit:
"808's sucks, bring back the old Kanye" blah blah blah...
Some amazing fans you are. When will you all realize that he switches his style up every album. :/
I don't think these people are even fans. How many of them would have heard Bound 2 if it weren't for everyone talking about the video?
Shiiit, good point.
They're not fans.
ginoblee94 Precisely. Just wait- 3 years from now, people will talk about how "Yeezus was a classic" and whatnot. Ignorance, ya know?
fhadj EVERY Kanye project has something special to offer. If you can see the best in it then you're pretty much set.

150 million in a checking account would make sense given his net worth and isn't easily stolen.

have to be confident some how, thats just a character he puts up trust me no way you could be this artistic and arrogant
I loved this song ever since it came out. I remember going through things as a kid and this song always helped.

The Auto-Tune rappers we have today are heavily influenced by this haha
for the people who keeps on commenting shit saying: when kanye was kanye
what you dont know is that when kanye dropped this song (and also the whole 808 album) everyone kept on saying that they need the old (college dropout/no auto tune kanye) kanye

The reason I miss this Kanye is becuazs he wasn't amaragent and was contender now he thinks he's a god
I only today found out that Kanye produced the album with this song after the death of his mother and the break-up with his fiance.
The music video reflects his mood, his depression, as if the memories and the ghosts from the past are haunting him.
This has a spiritual meaning.
Every album usually projects chapters in his life
808’s & Heartbreak era 2009-09
Proof, in my opinion, that music is a cure for conditions like depression.
Arguably his best piece ever. Lyrics are gold. Perfectly describe the experience of a dysfunctional relationship on the brink of ending

Kanye was never one of the artists that I would listen to, but a number of his songs are really nice and stayed with me over the years. Love lockdown is one of them. The visuals are stunning, the combination between the rich content in a minimalist touch is winning my attention all the time. Power music video is also really good.
He is an amazing painter, as well.
There's so many... His music is part of my childhood when I didn't have toys to play with. Something about this just touches my inner me and makes me dance and sing.
Pay attention to exacly just that in his music: rich in minimalistic, its his thing. Thats his repetitive contradiction
