My very first meditation session years ago, I was “taken away” to a dark beach where all I saw was lightening across the ocean and was purplish against the black sky. For once I was not scared of the darkness or being alone. I just listened to the ocean and lightening until I was taken out and back into my room. I’ve been taken to this beach and the lightening many times in dreams and years way before coming to Jyotish.
My AK is retro Saturn in Jupiter’s very complex/rough nakshatra of Libra/Vishakha (conj Ketu-my moon ruler). Jupiter is in Sravana and is AmK and also moon ruler.

i have sun as atmakarka in vishaka nakshatra and it’s lord which is jupiter is sitting in the first house

I have Saturn Atmakarak at 29 in jyestha and Sun at 27, Jupiter at 26, Moon at 26, Venus at 25, Mercury at 21, ...Rahu Ketu at 4 and mars at 18 ...most of the planets are in 6,8,12 ...always wondered why so many planets in higher degrees, but after hearing u that planets beyond 21 are significant and can guide our souls well feels better as many say planets with higher degrees are vradhdha and may not give results....i feel curious to learn astrology but refrain to get involved completely as i don't think I can take much of people's energy and hence will not be able to give 100% but time and again i get drawn to it so I try and understand atleast to know myself and my purpose 🙏

Do Rahu and Ketu count? Or does it have to be a planet? I have Rahu in Vishakaha 28 degrees and Ketu 28 in Krittika
Rahu Ketu doesn’t count. So never take them as Atmakaraka
