She's already bringing the rebound into the family house around the kids, cooking and eating dinner at the table, bringing them to their out of school events, posting pictures of them together to spite me and reinforce the rebounds security so they're not threatened by me....oh yeah, and we're still married with at least another 3-4 months of divorce proceedings. Apparently if you can say out loud "we're not married" it's magically true and you can proceed accordingly....I'm no Nostradamus but I can't remember any fairytale love stories that started under these conditions and it's really pathetic. Terrible shame for the kids though.
Moved into a new relationship within a week of our 11 month relationship ended. Had him moved in within 2 months with her, and now they are getting married at just under 4 months together. Seems ridiculously rushed and strained. but I have started dating. I wish her well. And if she is happy.....so be it. Yet, I sense that this will end before the end of the year or within a short amount of time. But who knows, maybe not. Let go and let God.

Long story short he asked me to do him a solid and drop him some drinks off by his house one night a few weeks back, as he is a contract worker and had to quarantine for COVID exposure. I happily volunteered, then his wife, the exgfs sister freaked out on him stating that me even bringing him something (to which she called it selfish of him to ask a friend for a solid while they’re holed up due to quarantine) then told him that her seeing me, might cause her pain. This hits home for me. All the comments are exactly what I went through with my ex. She broke up with me April 25th 2023 and got married June 16 2023. What he said in this video is so true. We we’re together for 16yrs but she found someone to Mary her in less than 3 months? She became angry an bitter that I didn’t marry her and our intimacy had fallen off dramatically. Everyone has said she moved too fast and it won’t work. She barely knows the guy but claims that’s the love of her life because he married her. At 53 yrs old she started acting like a teenager. She’ll regret her decision.
My husband asked for a trial separation in May after 17 years together and 2 kids. He started seeing someone a month later while we’re still working on trying to fix us. He then officially threw in the towel in August. He grew distant fast. I only found out about the new girl since my son saw her as his phone screen saver in September. She’s 14 years younger than me. @@bradleyelacombe I’m sorry you too have to go through this. I’m actually doing much better now and moved into a new home that is solely mine. With lots of therapy I’ve seen how much he manipulated me into some who thought I couldn’t be without him. But as I heal I’ve come to remember I was always the more competent one of us and am Thriving. It may have felt like my life came to a crashing stop back then but now I see it as a blessing. It may seem like a cliche saying but sometimes the trash really does throws it’s self out.
I’m right there with you. My ex husband got his new woman pregnant within 3 weeks of ‘dating’ her. She already has a kid. We still have shared custody of the kids we have together but honestly? I’m not holding out much hope that he’s going to be as hands on after this new baby is born. It’s due in September.

They moved in at 3 or 4 months when stay home orders started, engaged after 7. Might be considered slow for some people but out of character for him. His life though, his choices. I am working on walking every day and hopefully after being unemployed for a few months because of the pandemic starting a new job early in the new year. Even if he couldn't appreciate it for whatever reason I know I have a ton to offer someone.

I had this happen with my ex. He use to say how ugly she was and he could never talk to her. They finally got together and moved in together. One week after our three year relationship ended, she started seeing a new guy two months later she told me she was engaged and sent me a picture of her with her engagement ring, a month later she posted a ultra sound picture on her Facebook. This all happened within 3 months in her new relationship, this guy just came out the blue cause I’m pretty sure they’ve never met before I got with her or maybe they known each other I just don’t know. This has happened to me before where my ex moved on with one of my so called friends and then some months later they got pregnant. I’m 146 days sober and just handling everything different now cause of my sobriety. I’m not trying to run away from my emotions I’m heading them head on. He was 1 year with his ex girl and it was only confrontations between them. Then he met me ( I rekognosering the wholr story the way after) . We have been together for 6 mnths. It was great. He told me that he never thought that relationships can be without jealing, only langhelg, etc. But I told him when I felt that its not Ok to me. .Meantime his ex went to anothet relationships. Then after 6 mnths he gjousted me out of the blue and moved together with her and her child. But I see that he started relationships with her by the same scenario-presents, facebook anouncements to all friends that he is happy. So I’m really confuse I don’t know what to do it’s like I’ve gotten broke up with all over again , remind you even when I called her asking her for dinner she said that they’re talking but they aren’t together they’re taking a break from each other to now saying “ nvm me and my mans are good “ what should I do ? hi Clay well things are a little different in my case the fast moving background is similar to your discription but wih an added part the rebound is an illegal immigrant being in the country six months my ex just became a citizen in April. one week later she finished with me stating that she wants to experiment 3 weeks later rebound surfaced she still went on holiday with me and our two year old and our six year old .during the summer july . end of july the other illegals she rented rooms to moved out and the rebound moved in. this is a time period from late April to last week in july.. the weird thing is she stayed over in my joint parenting week two nights before the rebound moved in .. she was not sure what she wanted or felt guilty. i am not sure . we dont fight at all and communicate around the children on a daily basis.. i felt she was teatering through out this process .. we had been living apart but still dating up until that point for six months .it all started being strange when the illegals turned up january of this year then they introduced the rebound shortly after. i am not sure if the rebound is using her to stay in the country .. and she is being blinded buy his attention speculation... she could be just playing us both or just me .. we have eight years together.. things just dont tally in my opinion .. she even indicated joining myself and our sons on our planned mid term trip to spain .. this fall .. she said she has things to consider before she will say yes to going on the trip.. its painfall but also ground hog day dejavou etc etc what is your opnion Clay i am on your program and going through the course material,, not sure if it fits this situation.. thanks

He's in a "relationship" now. He says it's because he doesn't love her, never will and doesn't have to do anything (nothing nice like he did for me- no romantic gestures, no special dates, etc). She offers convenient sex, and has a pulse lol. I guess I can feel ok knowing he's never going to find real love and intimacy like we had. Hes freely admits he's just screwing an overweight alcoholic 3-4 times a month and remaining emotionally unavailable. I don't think he's the type of man I'd want now.
Girlfriend of two years left me for a coworker of hers. I was and still am pretty devastated... Oh yeah we were together for 8yrs (two women) she always said she hated men and has a very bad relationship with her father (and her mother sort of too) and after we broke up, two weeks after she vanished to another country with a guy she had a month long affair with 5 yrs ago when we had problems (he was into self-harm and threatened to kill himself if she left him but she came back to me) now after two weeks with him she moved in with him and got engaged another week or so later and she has never been more sure of anything "he just gets her" ...ok...good for you guys

She's already bringing the rebound into the family house around the kids, cooking and eating dinner at the table, bringing them to their out of school events, posting pictures of them together to spite me and reinforce the rebounds security so they're not threatened by me....oh yeah, and we're still married with at least another 3-4 months of divorce proceedings. Apparently if you can say out loud "we're not married" it's magically true and you can proceed accordingly....I'm no Nostradamus but I can't remember any fairytale love stories that started under these conditions and it's really pathetic. Terrible shame for the kids though.
Moved into a new relationship within a week of our 11 month relationship ended. Had him moved in within 2 months with her, and now they are getting married at just under 4 months together. Seems ridiculously rushed and strained. but I have started dating.

This hits home for me. All the comments are exactly what I went through with my ex. She broke up with me April 25th 2023 and got married June 16 2023. What he said in this video is so true. We we’re together for 16yrs but she found someone to Mary her in less than 3 months? She became angry an bitter that I didn’t marry her and our intimacy had fallen off dramatically. Everyone has said she moved too fast and it won’t work. She barely knows the guy but claims that’s the love of her life because he married her. At 53 yrs old she started acting like a teenager. She’ll regret her decision.

He then officially threw in the towel in August. He grew distant fast. I only found out about the new girl since my son saw her as his phone screen saver in September. She’s 14 years younger than me. And now he admits he found out she was pregnant in August. Their baby is due in May, on the anniversary of our ‘trial’ separation. I feel like I’m in a nightmare I can’t wake up from. He will literally be replacing our family with a newer version by May. Oh yeah he moved across the country and barely sees his sons too…

@@bradleyelacombe I’m sorry you too have to go through this. I’m actually doing much better now and moved into a new home that is solely mine. With lots of therapy I’ve seen how much he manipulated me into some who thought I couldn’t be without him. But as I heal I’ve come to remember I was always the more competent one of us and am Thriving.
It may have felt like my life came to a crashing stop back then but now I see it as a blessing.

Not so much a Rebound but more of a monkey branch, to a work colleague but it has moved very fast, he got serious quickly, moved in, expecting a baby. I just want to understand what the hell happened.
They moved in at 3 or 4 months when stay home orders started, engaged after 7. Might be considered slow for some people but out of character for him. His life though, his choices. I am working on walking every day and hopefully after being unemployed for a few months because of the pandemic starting a new job early in the new year. Even if he couldn't appreciate it for whatever reason I know I have a ton to offer someone.

This all happened within 3 months in her new relationship, this guy just came out the blue cause I’m pretty sure they’ve never met before I got with her or maybe they known each other I just don’t know. This has happened to me before where my ex moved on with one of my so called friends and then some months later they got pregnant. I’m 146 days sober and just handling everything different now cause of my sobriety. I’m not trying to run away from my emotions I’m heading them head on. I just don’t want any hate in my heart I just don’t know how to feel. It’s just so many emotions I’m dealing with.

He was 1 year with his ex girl and it was only confrontations between them. Then he met me ( I rekognosering the wholr story the way after) . We have been together for 6 mnths. It was great. He told me that he never thought that relationships can be without jealing, only langhelg, etc. But I told him when I felt that its not Ok to me. .Meantime his ex went to anothet relationships. Then after 6 mnths he gjousted me out of the blue and moved together with her and her child. But I see that he started relationships with her by the same scenario-presents, facebook anouncements to all friends that he is happy. I understand that I was a rebound, but those two -are they rebound too? As I know they are both emotional unavailable. I am not. He used me to take back his self esteem. my story is a long one so i will summarise, i was with my ex at his house until early jan, we broke up because i felt he would be unfaithful on me with a woman he had been seeing during our previous breakup, after we broke up, they got together the same or next day, she moved in and they got two dogs... i never got these things and i was seeing him on and off for a couple years he never made it serious with me. she got it all in one swoop, all i ever waned off him but never got
Problem is that I’m fully blocked on everything. She blocked me from a point of emotion,and I can’t really do anything. She got really mad after I addressed all of the things that bothered her and apologized profoundly. I don’t know if she’ll come back but all I can really do is live my life. My intuition tells me she will, but I’m not really attatched to that scenario. If it doesn’t happen I’ll find a new person.
It hurts but trust me it's the best that they blocked you. You do need to see that BS. It helps to heal better not having it dangling in front of you.

My ex and I went into no contact after she left me and then I found out she was messing with this guy that I made her meet at work because she said that he saw her crying and comforted her and they started talking and this texted me saying he’s sorry etc and then told me I’m stupid if I get back with her a month passed during no contact and I see this guy watching my story almost every other week, then recently my ex hit me up saying she’s sorry about how things went etc and started talking to me again not mentioning the other guy at all telling me how he’s weird and controlling so I asked her if she wanted to work out w me and she said yeah , even started making comments about how good I look now and how her life hadn’t been good she’s been eating less etc , so we were talking for 3 days nice and good then I call her asking if she wanted to go have dinner and catch up better , all of sudden she says she doesn’t know how the other guy is going to feel , remind you she liters told me days prior that she wasn’t seeing anyone anymore , so after she basically said she can’t see me I said ok and an hour later the guy text me saying “you can have her , I don’t want her anymore “ so now I’m confused he later said that they had a big argument and how I don’t find it weird that now is the time she wants to make things right and apologize about the way me and her broke up saying it was wrong and we should’ve talked , hours later she text me saying she doesn’t know wat I told him that she didn’t have any intention of getting back with me , so I showed her that he text me , so she said goodbye she doesn’t want to speak to me anymore then hours later she text me asking for our conversations saying she deleted them , and I didn’t respond then she text like a few minutes later saying nvm me and my mans are good , after the guy was just telling me he wants nothing to do with her anymore . So I’m really confuse I don’t know what to do it’s like I’ve gotten broke up with all over again , remind you even when I called her asking her for dinner she said that they’re talking but they aren’t together they’re taking a break from each other to now saying “ nvm me and my mans are good “ what should I do ? well things are a little different in my case the fast moving background is similar to your discription but wih an added part the rebound is an illegal immigrant being in the country six months my ex just became a citizen in April. one week later she finished with me stating that she wants to experiment
3 weeks later rebound surfaced she still went on holiday with me and our two year old and our six year old .during the summer july . end of july the other illegals she rented rooms to moved out and the rebound moved in. this is a time period from late April to last week in july.. the weird thing is she stayed over in my joint parenting week two nights before the rebound moved in .. she was not sure what she wanted or felt guilty. i am not sure . we dont fight at all and communicate around the children on a daily basis.. i felt she was teatering through out this process .. we had been living apart but still dating up until that point for six months .it all started being strange when the illegals turned up january of this year then they introduced the rebound shortly after. i am not sure if the rebound is using her to stay in the country .. and she is being blinded buy his attention speculation... she could be just playing us both or just me .. we have eight years together..
things just dont tally in my opinion .. she even indicated joining myself and our sons on our planned mid term trip to spain .. this fall .. she said she has things to consider before she will say yes to going on the trip.. its painfall but also ground hog day dejavou etc etc

He's in a "relationship" now. He says it's because he doesn't love her, never will and doesn't have to do anything (nothing nice like he did for me- no romantic gestures, no special dates, etc). She offers convenient sex, and has a pulse lol. I guess I can feel ok knowing he's never going to find real love and intimacy like we had. Hes freely admits he's just screwing an overweight alcoholic 3-4 times a month and remaining emotionally unavailable. I don't think he's the type of man I'd want now.
Girlfriend of two years left me for a coworker of hers. I was and still am pretty devastated... It's been 3 weeks so far and I'm just trying to pull myself together and potentially start looking for someone else, I'm shocked and deeply hurt she could just throw us away and jump into something new so fast. It was 4 day or that's at least what she said to me, then we got back together for a month and she broke up with me again. I'm not sure if she's with that guy again, but it must suck for him too knowing she flip-flops like that and was back with me again for a month. I never knew she had it in her to be this way, I thought she was a sweet quiet girl. It's like she has no empathy now and is lost. 2 days after my ex told me she was done she posted she was in a relationship on FB. We had been split up for 6 months. We still talked everyday for hrs and she would spend weekends with me just like when we dated. Oh yeah we were together for 8yrs (two women) she always said she hated men and has a very bad relationship with her father (and her mother sort of too) and after we broke up, two weeks after she vanished to another country with a guy she had a month long affair with 5 yrs ago when we had problems (he was into self-harm and threatened to kill himself if she left him but she came back to me) now after two weeks with him she moved in with him and got engaged another week or so later and she has never been more sure of anything "he just gets her" ...ok...good for you guys

My girlfriend of 5 years broke up with me (due to covid and travel restrictions the last 10 months we did long distance but spoke very often about moving in getting married having kids in the near future/when she was meant to be back in 2 months).
