For me Lestat is Tom Cruise cause I also read the book In the mid 90s until now he's the one I envision.but he did a movie so not enough material to work on and it was a motion pic with a major star so they couldn't have the gay scenes and it was '94.so ppl shouldn't based on this series,the next Lestat actor has a lot to live up too ,Sam Reid is amazing
That moment where he hunts that thief for Louis (moments after the Angel of Starvation quote) and calls him Louis's "criminal biscuit" (and Louis eats a cat instead)
From what i've gathered they may be deviating from a the book a little bit more going forward, curious to see how that will involve/effect lestat. not 100% sure we will still get 'punk rocker' lestat so interesting to see what we may get instead.
Just as long as they keep Louis. Majority of the chronicles revolve around Lestat, his adventures and other characters. I think the show works because of the dynamic between Louis and Lestat.
